this was our favorite restaurant in Bali, its Balinese food modified to appeal to foreigners, pricey compared to restaurants in Bali but the food and the atmosphere is worth it

Breakfast is really nice but dinner was very disappointing. It’s understandable that most customers are resort guests and if the occupancy was low the restaurant business is low.
We went there for dinner and I ordered a steak with medium well. When the steak was served, it was completely over cooked. I’m usually not very picky on food but this is the first time I couldn’t finish a half-palm steak. This should not happen in such a luxury resort. I only took a bite and told the staff at the end of the meal that I didnt enjoy the meal but would pay for it since I had already eaten it. The restaurant was very nice to remove the charge of the steak and offered to make another one.

On March 31, I asked my driver to bring my clients to this Bambu restaurant and gave some money for him to pay, the hotel securities did not allowed him to enter the lobby, how is he supposed to pay for the meals??? it is such a discrimination and arrogant establishment. And all of my clients complained that the waiter and hotel employees rudely asked them to not took photographs, I can understand that some hotels prohibit non-stay customers to took photos or walking around the property, but this is a big hotel, you have many customer service staffs and public relation officers, you have duty manager around the clock, can't you explained the 'no photo' rule nicely, why you all have to be so rude and ruined your customers vacation, do you think you are the only restaurant in this island?, do you think we cannot afford to go to the better restaurants?, this is Bali, well known for it's polite, decent, and nice people, why don't you show it to your customers?, are you all feel better after showing your arrogance??? it's a shame I cannot give you minus stars
