Clean and neat place in Ketandan. Their yammie was so chewy and delicious, and ice orange was really fresh too. You can also take pics for your social media feeds. I love it.

Old fashioned space, however good for taking picture. Good taste of food. Fresh yamien with crunchy fried meet balls or pangsit. Delicious ingredients that cooked mushrooms is used for topping. Friendly atmosphere of this restaurant will make you enjoy and feel at home.... ❤❤❤

Really great ambiance and super friendly owner! This shop has been in his family for generations and was originally his grandfather’s handmade jewelry workshop. The noodles were yummy and it’s a great place to spend lunch.

If you happen to be waking along Malioboro street and are looking for something to eat, this can be an option. The noodle is tasty but it can be improved. The taste is light and won't make you feel sick of seasonings. To my personal preference, the noodle is a bit chewy - not because it's not cooked well. So if you like softer noodle, you might find it less appetiting. One big issue is that it doesn't have parking space. You will park your car or motorcycle on the side of busy small street.

Place’s packed on the weekend, but we were greeted by the warm staff and were told about the wait plus where we could sit while waiting. Good first impression.

Lovely atmosphere, cute instagrammable place and has that quirky feel to it. Serves halal noodle, which is very risky especially in Ketandan area.

We had fried meatballs and the Yammie Komplit plit. The fried meatballs were seasoned well, they were good and had depth. Then came our Yammie noodles....... I had high hopes since I saw it on my friend’s feed. Had a bite of the meatball, it was below par, tasteless. The broth that came with it tasted so watered down that got my tongue confused. Moving on the the noodle, I just had to take a video to show peeps I’m not making this up but to put a noodle place in China town, not knowing how to serve noodle is almost sacrilege. It was bland, sticky due to being overcooked and severely under-seasoned. The veggies that came with the noodle were fresh, I give you that and the mushroom bits were okay. I felt disappointed.

Got our bills and said our goodbyes to the nice peeps. Overall, I would come back for instagram feed, the warm welcome and the fried meatball only, but for now I’ll stick to Pathuk area for my Yammie fix.

A lil bit hidden in famous Malioboro area @ Ketandan heritage, it is a lil bit hard to find. The site offers original yammie (noodle) and wonton with original taste.
Although the taste is less or tends to be plain compared to other chinese cuisines, it is good for who likes light taste cuisines.
Served by nice and kind owner, supported by old ancient chinese vintage buildings, and warm atmosphere, will make you as you were in old decades.....
A must try when you visited Jojga, especially if you were around Malioboro....

PS : if you hard to find the sites, you can reach in front of Ramai Mall at East Gate / Ramayana Mall to the east, OR, you can through Melia Purosani to the West...

great place. there are bunch antique stuffs, really set the ambience. as for the food, it was good, i have no complains. the iced oranges is actually really fresh.
