I think pastas are just the best choice at this restaurant. That's my best recommendation here. The other menu such as the Indonesian food and the choices under the "world kitchen" section are much less recommended.

As of the ambience, the second floor is quite nice esp if you just want to have your me time. The wifi connection is really good, so it can make a good place for 'work from cafe'.

We came here because we saw 2000+ great review on google maps and other sites. We expected the same but we got completely otherwise. We understand, with pandemic, it has been difficult year for everyone including the tourism. I believe this place was a great restaurant before. But this review is based on our own, very honest experience.
The food presentation and portion look very good and tempting. But the taste was a little off to no taste. My iga bakar sup taste nearly like water with some grease. Mu husband ordered sapi sambal matah, he got so little beef but a lot of side dish, one of that many side dish, not sure what was that was so bitter, smells like basil, may be it was like sautéed green basil with coconut, but so weird. The lime squash, we sure it was off. That was the worse dinner experience during our stay in Yogyakarta. Price is fairly cheap though.

I am very sorry but this resto has lost his magic.. I remember via via with their great food a years a go. I came back with my husband for dinner and their food is so bad, my prawn laksa was no taste at all and a bit rotten. Their beras kencur jamu also taste weird.. my husband had his stroganoff and it was okay. Just okay. I read some of the reviews before we went there and I have to say that most of their bad reviews are correct. The restaurant was empty. That's explained a lot since I remember via via was always full. Please owner, do something about this, read all the reviews and maybe you can do something about it. I used to love via via and I would love to love via via still..

I ate here for (late) lunch, it's almost dinner tbh. Ordered chicken shawarma and long black. Coffee was too bitter, thought they brew robusta bean ????, shawarma was okay...much too stingy in yoghurt portion ????

I used to come here to show my guests what via via looks like when i was being a tour guide for them. They loved this place and their meals. So then i decided to come to this cafe by myself and i just so wondering they make my order ice lemon tea which takes about an hr to do. What a disappointed services for me cuz its just a glass of ice lemon tea and even tho when i was here they are not busy and not many customers.

Strolling aroung this road several times, just realized ViaVia is not a souvenir store, but a bakery.
Went inside and found what I just need after a long day being on the road: croissant and coffee.

At first I went straight to the resto, but turned out that the bakery is three doors next to the resto, so you'd have to walk a bit to earn yo bread. Only this is the sad part, because it would be much more convenient if I can just order coffee and croissant at the same time (at least one is able see it on the menu, but the resto don't have it).

How was the product? They're all okay. I like the coffee quality.

Probably going to come here again some other time in Jogja.

Good place with international food. The juices are delicious and the food is of good quality.

The prices are good, the waiting time for the food is fast but I must say that the service is not so good.
