If you visiting Yogyakarta in Indonesia and you want to stay in a place like home Omah Pitoe might be a wonderful choice. It is an old Javanese style house inside the Keraton complex, or ‘Dalem Beteng’ so yes Keraton can be reach on foot, even Malioboro street is also within reach, just a bit further to the north. This is the city center. The most important thing for me foods are all around and within walking distance. And coffee, I must mention this : great coffee is right at the front gate of this homestay, really good coffee … for me it’s like I’m in heaven.
I always choose Omah Pitoe whenever I visit Jogja.

Great hospitality that is for sure. Old renewed building that far away from spooky sense at all. Its owner knows how to make a homestay feels like a real home for guests. Humble breakfast in a large dining room with large windows, fresh air flow in the morning, and bright room. Nice beds and AC. If you find luxurious staying, look in some place else because this place offers you a second home within your holiday.

Very homey, hati berasa tentram nginap disini. Definitely will recommend you this homestay. And of course will be back here once in Yogyakarta.

Enjoyed two nights here! The owners are very veryyyyyyy nice i cant even. The room i ordered was cozy too. VERY STRATEGIC! You can go to Alun-Alun Kidul only by using foot :3. And serves good food. The only thing I dislike is too many gamelan, makes me feel haunted and yeah lol but overall loved it staying there!! Would love to go there sometime.

Wonderful homestay with cozy ambience, the location near Keraton Yogyakata, down a quiet street but close to the sights. You can also join "traditional classes" i.e batik painting class, gamelan class, bakpia experience class and traditional herbal drink class.

If u need a homestay. I recomended this place. It's clean. The owner so friendly. It's near to alun2 kidul. It's just perfect. And they have a full set of gamelan.

Clean, easy to access and you can get great breakfast from the food stall nearby
