IL POZZO RISTORANTE

I was wondering why Il Pozzo was soo empty from the outside. Now I know why. The outside looked a bit small, but it was huge when you enter the restaurant. The pizza oven was placed outside so that customers can see the pizza when baked.

Since this was the first time eating here, I ordered mostly the one with chef recommendation label on the menu hoping that the taste was good. But it was very disappointing.

Lime mojito was good. Mini pizza was OK, although there was something off about the after taste. Pumpkin soup was soo plain, doesn't taste like a creamy soup whatsoever. The texture was very rough and more like baby food. The most shocking one was the aglio olio. There was a flour taste in it and it was not edible for me personally. It also have parmesan cheese on top, making the aglio olio tasted even weirder.

The only good thing in here was the place that looked very instagrammable.

I hope the restaurant can improve the taste and quality of the food in the future. It's a shame that the place looks great but the food was not good.

Place is nice, definitely instagramable and cozy. Nice music choice, i think the ambience is really good for relaxing. Anyway, i ordered the pasta, actually not my taste. maybe another menu taste better. But if you stranded in lempuyangan station, you could just walk for 6 minutes and have a nice rest here.

Saya suka suasananya! Tempatnya sangat nyaman dan berseni. Bila ke tempat ini, pizza dan lasagna layak dicoba. Harga cukup terjangkau untuk ukuran restoran pizza. Recommended!
I like the vibe! The place is so cozy and artsy. Their pizza and lasagna are worth to try. The prices are reasonable enough for a pizza place. A must-try place!

id say that foods have sourness balance that can be accepted by local or tourism. they taste pretty good with affordable price. or you can just spent a nice evening tea with its great ambience they have.

...Italian resto in the heart of Jogja, indoor and outdoor seating, spacious parking. We also can see how pizza being made (really firewood pizza!). Still under finishing "touch" in backyard. You can relax while enjoying the atmosphere, or have a meeting with friends, colleagues or business...

Food was okay, i ordered polo chicken something (dont really remember lol, i'll post a the pic), portion wise it was kinda big; not as small as what some reviews have described, however the side dish proportion was kinda a bit too small but it was totally fine. Taste wise, it was okay, but i think other menu might give better taste, mine wasnt the reccomended one though. The orange squash was good.
Talking about ambience: weird; it was an italian restaurant but the music played was all K-Pop!! Im not mad abt kpop but it just doesnt suite the concept.

The foods are outstanding, I ordered a medium-sized formaggi misti (6 slices) and it was pretty big for me ???????? but the pizza is really delicious!! I gotta love the desserts too ???????????? what a pleasant visit, I will definitely come again soon!
