Pleasant Dining Experience at this Seafood Specialty warung.

Firstly, the place was super clean - hygiene is clearly of importance here and tables are sanitised right prior to diners being seated.

Don't expect any thrills and simple wall fans to cool down the dining space on a hot day, seated amongst canteen tables and stools.

Seafood selection is between Squid, Giant King Prawns, Grouper Fish, Pompano Fish, Asian Sea bass, Snappers. All super fresh and stock was plenty - we came around 2pm.

You can choose your seafood to be grilled, fried or even steamed and a variety of sambals and heat levels are offered to your prior to commencing the cooking!

We chose two delicious sides of Cah Kankung (Steamed Water Spinach with tons of Garlic and Chilli), Lalapan - fresh and raw crunchy vegetable selection of cucumber, string beans, bean sprouts and Kemangi leaf, simple steamed rice and selection of 4 sambals and we let the seafood do the rest of the talking.

Delicious Dabu Dabu sambal - l which is made from fresh tomatoes chilis and lemongrass, a more punchy Sambal Tomat from raw tomatoes and chills and Sambal Bawang, which had an unusual but welcome addition of Kemangi Leaf (think Indonesian basil) and Sambal Kecap - a thick and syrupy Sweet Soy, Tamarind and Chili sauce. All four had unique and interesting flavour combination with the coconut smoked seafood.

Prawns were juicy and soft, the grouper was super succulent and we only wish we could finish it - our eyes were bigger than our stomachs on arrival! Prices were very reasonable as you would expect to pay the market price - budget around 200k per person - on an empty stomach, much less if you've had a good breakfast beforehand.

Nice seafood place. The seafood is fresh. We ordered grilled octopus, fish, prawn and sambals. The place is clean and simple. No air conditioning. I was told by a local who lives in Yogya that this is their favorite place. I’d love to come here again to eat seafood.

My favorite place to eat fish dishes. Their speciality is ikan surung (fourfinger threadfin). But they also have kerapu (grouper) and kakap (snapper). I like their grilled fish (with spicy sweet sauce), but you can order fried wish as well. Don't forget to try their squid, prawn, and sambal as well!

Fresh fish served! A bit pricey, but worth it. Sambal dabu dabu potong or uleg is the best combo with the fish! It's super duper yummy!

The taste is good. Not too long for the food to prepare.

Overpriced, the thing only may not really satisfied you and not relevance indeed in Jogja. And also, they can not make bumbu padang, which is very good for seafood.

Maybe for suggestion to the owner, you can adding like ikan bandeng/milkfish to grill.

But overall, i think if you can find seafood resto in jogja, it is like you find a water in the middle of dessert. Good for seafood lovers.
