This is a review for the Dowa shop, located just below this restaurant (1st floor). The shop sells Dowa's ladies bags, with various type, color and variation. Dowa is one of famous local brand, known mostly for its knitted bags. It's a modern, and comfortable shops. The bags are also very beautiful

Very nice, unique, and quiet place. You can see Tugu Jogja from this restaurant. After eating you can go to Dowa bag store in the same building with this restaurant. Lil bit pricey but most of the food are delicious and has its own historical story ????????????????

First time visit
Place: Very nice building, easy to reach, close proximity from Tugu landmark. Limited parking spaces (limited around 6-7 cars). Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of building (no disable access). First floor is Dowa’s shop (famous local bag shop).

Ambiance: 2 seating options; outdoor (back terrace and balcony) and indoor tables. Surprisingly they do not provide aircon for indoor tables which I found it quite hot.
Nice decoration.

Food: They provide light meals (especially Western option) and main course (mostly Western and limited option of Indonesia food).

Taste: We ordered chicken fillet with rice, honje nasi goreng, and gurame goreng orange sauce. Presentation is okay, taste was average. Need a bit of seasoning for my taste especially for nasi goreng.

Service: 20-30mins waiting time for all the orders to get delivered. Waitress perhaps can be more attentive to the client.

Price: on the high side for Jogja.

Conclusion: Restaurant may be suitable if you only want to hang around with friend, not suitable for family especially with young children and elderly (due to their access to the restaurant).
Need more works for taste improvement and elaboration of Indonesian food choices to strengthen theme image of the restaurant.

Nice view from the balcony directly faced the Tugu... Great atmosphere... But no music.... Little bit noisy coz the traffic. Also available a sofa... reasonable price of food coz you get great atmosphere. there are many kind of menu from appetiser till dessert

The location was great (near the most iconic place in Jogja “Tugu”). This place need to upgrading their parking area. I’m one of Dowa’s biggest fan and I think they need to adding more option color of their bag. Good service with lovely employee, they’re so kind and friendly.

A cozy and well-designed restaurants, located in a strategic place which I believe visited often by travelers. There was live music when I came, and I came with a pack of 30 pax, I'm not sure who provide the music players. And the food was just a so-so, fancy indonesian cuisine.

Just, perfect! The restaurant is affordable and had a great quality of food u0026 drinks. Service also attentive and you can also make a group reservation for private gathering or luncheon/dinner.
