Wet type gudeg. This gudeg more savoury with little sweet, if you don't like sweet gudeg, you should try this one. Near Tugu monument. Use white tofu (not fried-brown tofu).

One of the most favorite wet-type gudeg in Jogja. You have to try the gudeg with delicious chicken head. If you have spare time, try to eat on the spot while having hot tea as beverage. Eating gudeg at night is never been so soothing when you have it under the warm street light at Tugu intersection.

One of the many places to enjoy gudeg, a typical delicacy from Yogyakarta. This place is open until late at night, at about 1 a.m. it's close to the Tugu monument, just a few meters from it. It's located in front of a closed shop. It's relaxing to eat there while sitting on a mattress and see people passing by. The gudeg here is delicious. You should try eating here.

I like it, the gudeg is not too sweet. We can find more additional menu here, like satai, tempe, crackers, etc. Usually, i order gudeg with slice of chicken and an egg with spicy taste

"Gudeg Kulon Tugu", it means "Gudeg located at western side of the Tugu". It used to be GUDEG TUGU, exactly at the north-west corner of the intersection, straight facing to the Tugu Monument. It was really "something" for any customers who stopped by and ate or even just having hot tea, then : a fascinating view, feeling like hearing history telling from a long silent whitness of sadness u0026 happiness during the period of establishment of The Ngayogjokarto Hadiningrat.
But then, in the beginning of year 2000's, suddently the Gudeg left the most "emotional spot" in town to the current space with nobody know what reason it was for.
Anyway .... So far the Gudeg has been the same in taste, they succeed to maintain the recipe for decades ... Please enjoy!

If you were looking for good-taste "Gudeg Basah" after boring for oversweet "Gudeg Kering", this gudeg is very recommended. The price is also economical, the taste was very good, with many side dishes and condiment.
