The place is really nice and tidy. Agents speak very good English and are really helpful. Maybe the only disadvantage is that they’re not really up-to-speed with post-pandemic events. Like they told us there are sunrise tickets in Borobudur but there are none… but we learned a lot! Highly recommended!

The Tourist Information Centre at behind the bus stop or in the street side of Malioboro.

The staff provides a good service. They explain to tourist with detail information and clearly explanation, such as the direction with showing the map, the entrance fee of tourist places, the public transportation.

For tourist native speaker who can't speak English well, each staff has good foreign language skills, such as French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Korean.

My partner and I went into the center to get some information on tours and things to do while in Yogyakarta. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and set us up quickly and efficiently with 2 days of activities. I noticed the visitor information book had names from all over the world in it - and ALL the feedback was positive. So if you need some neutral, pressure-free advice on what to do - go and see the ladies in the Government Tourist Information Centre on Malioboro.

Strategically located in the middle of Malioboro street. Very helpful staff with dozens of leaflets and brochures that can be taken home. They speak decent English and help you with anything including public transportation to both Borobudur and Prambanan. Definitely the best place where you can get verified information.

Really helpful place, where you can ask many information about tourist attractions, accommodations, tours, and events. The staff really friendly. You can get free map of the city and wifi here.
