Aside from being a place to rest, Toegoe Hotel is also a silent witness of Indonesia's independence struggle. In 1949, the Toegoe Hotel was used as a meeting between Indonesia and the Committee of Good Offices for Indonesia (the Three Countries Commission of Australia, Belgium and the United States) in preparation for the Round Table Conference to be held in the same year in The Hague, Netherlands.

5 star for this old building only,but not for who responsibility with this building!.
One of Yogyakarta heritage but maybe without the owned that who must care.
