Randy greeted us when we arrived and was so kind and helpful. He arranged a scooter rental for us, offered suggestions of what to see, and even let us borrow his computer to make a flight booking when our phones weren’t working properly. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a nice stay and we were so grateful for his hospitality! We loved that breakfast rotates each morning so there was variety. Nice, enjoyable sitting spaces outdoors to read or relax. Good location close to the Water Palace, Sultan Palace, and restaurants. Only downsides are showers are cold and cleanliness could be improved (mold in bathrooms and some peeling paint), but overall an enjoyable stay!

Very cute guest house, loved the outdoor kitchen. No hot water (and the breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to other guest houses in Yogya). We had a cheap room and found out it was due to the fact the "double" bed was actually 1pax 1/2. But the staff was helpful and kind, the place is very relaxed, so I'd still visit again !

The crew is really friendly and helpful! They helped us a lot planning our movements around yogyakarta and also with tours, trains and bus. The hotel is just 20 minutes by walk from the Sultan palace and the water castle.
The cleaning of the bathrooms could be improved.

A great choice if you want to stay away from such a crowd neighbourhood like malioboro. The house is clean and there are two types of bed room, private and shared/dorm. The host is friendly and did a great service . If you walk around the neighbourhood you can see how locals living their daily life. Recommended.

The double room doesn't seem so private, it's a very small space and the bathroom doesn't have a door, just a loose curtain. You can hear anything almost as clearly as having no wall at all due to the ventilation hole on the wall. The location is pretty good though if you want to be near prawirotaman, and the owner is friendly.

cozy, comfort, homey place for backpacker. with minimum budget, we can spend the best time in jogja without worried with a place to sleep. you guys must try this place, and feel the best experience here. and i’m addicted with the breakfast, so cute.

We stayed two nights in the double room. Its a small room with bathroom, very clean, everything very good value for the money!! AC worked fine and wifi was one of the best of our travels, which was important to us. But the best was the staff! They are amazing helpfull and friendly, helped us with every little question, arranged a bike for a fair price, and made some fruit and pancake breakfast which was great. U can add ur own sandwich and ur all set! Thanks to them, our 2 days stay was so relaxed bcs we didnt had to worry about a thing, including our luggage at our last day (late train that night so we could leave everything there and pick it up at 11pm).
Highly recommend for budget travellers who like a quiet and peaceful hostel!
