Compare to the other famous Bakmi Djawa, I prefer this one. Such a great comfort food. Simple dishes with rich broth and deep taste. If you like sweetness to your food better choose Bakmi Goreng, if you like a little soupy (especially when rain) you could choose Bakmi Nyemek.

Went there because a friend of mine reccomended me, and it wasn't disappointing.

It was very crowded, but fortunately i still got a table. The waiter told me to wait for 45 minutes because of long queue, and i agreed. So you better prepare to wait, moreover on the weekend????

I ordered Mie Goreng, and it was super tasty. So i realized why i needed to wait for 45 minutes, they cooked the dish one by one. Really worth every bite.

So if you are looking for a traditional-recommended dish in Yogyakarta, this place is on the top list.

Unique taste of Mee Rebus (Mee Godog), enjoy while still hot. 2nd menu is Mee Goreng also nice, but Mee Godog is my favourite.

If the waiting time is reasonable, I will give four maybe...but more than 1 hour to get your food served is a bit too much. I have been to this place since 10 years ago and this time I am disappointed

Pros: 8/10 for taste and live music
Cons: I don't get it that they have lots of stoves for cooking yet customers still need to wait for hours ????

My first visit and enjoy the legendary Bakmi...Many tables available...It was a lovely dinner with our friends...It was a long wait cooking (1 hour) but we all love the Bakmi...Nothing left on the plate!!! It taste sweet...Try with Cayenne Pepper to make it spicy...

Need to wait about 1 hour to get my order,but it's okay. The bakmi jawa taste was good. Sometimes there's live music here.
