The nasi padang was ok. I found the portions very small and the food a bit on the fried side and very oily.

I really like the Bakwan. It is so yummy. The price is also affordable. I bought rice with bakwan and egg. It costs Rp 15.000 . They also sell some snacks like Pempek, etc. It also has parking lot so you can park your vehicle there. Overall it tastes good.

another alternative for lunch menu recommendation; kind of busy during afternoon until evening, but the staff are very fast while they were taking another order, mine was already served.
A bit informative, and they explained some stuff and ingredients for the cuisine.
Mostly use mushrooms and vegan flour (I don’t know what it is called).
Kind of salty (but it is my personal taste, and in my own opinion). The rest is great, tried their fish and crispy mushrooms.
Not too pricey, it costed Rp 26.000,- for what I just ate.

It's VEGETARIAN!
Padang cuisine is one of the tastiest foods in the world :) (at least for me.. Hahaha...)
... and it has a vegetarian version now.

It's quite authentic, wide range of options, tasty, and the place is easy to reach.

Taste wise: 4 out of 5
Portion wise: 4 out of 5
Price: affordable u0026 reasonable

Don't forget to tell them that you are a vegan if you don't take dairy products.

One thing that's quite surprising here is to find empek2, love it!

This the cheapest vegetarian restaurant i had. Even it is cheap, but taste is so good. I eat dendeng balado with padang complete set and potatoes is only 22k idr. One of vege calls singkong leaves with santan soup is very soft and tasty. I like veges :) and jackfruit. I recommends you to try. You will fell like wanna come back and eat again. It happened to me and my friends.

Good alternative Padang food for vegetarian. Although minus the "kick" from your usual padang taste
