This is our first detination when touch Solo hehe

Sate hj bejo in the center of Solo city,
At the first we order satay and gule, I am surprisingly the "satay kambing" is with ketchup sauce not with peanut sauce. Maybe because I am from east java and I think that gulai will be perfect with peanut sauce.. but its okay the taste from satay is good, the texture is juicy and the portion its big enough. And 1 again this satay will be plating without stab(tusuk)

And the second menu is gulai.. its full with offal (jeroan like limpa, babat etc), the taste is little bit tasteless (hambar) , but the portion is big

And because I am not satisfied yet. So I order the third menu ,satai buntel, and again they plate it without any stab (tusuk),
The taste is good, i like it and its full with the meat.

Ps ; no sambal for this resto, they plate the menu with the fresh chili

Satai buntel : 60k
Gulai : 60k

Advise : I hope they will provide garbage storage, or anyone who will clean the floor continuesly,because in the floor there are so many tissue

The best Sate Buntel u0026 Garmas! The lamb meat is tender u0026 juicy, taste sooo delicious! And for me, the portion is big enough for 2 persons if you eat it with rice, very generous amount of meat.

Great place for Sate Buntel. Sadly, when we arrived they were out of stock. So, we ordered goat satay and tengkleng.
Goat satay was chewy, but the sauce taste good. Tengkleng was tender.
It was always crowded, even though it located in residential area.

Hidden Gem. Too bad i reach Solo a bit late. They only have sate buntel, other menus already sold out. But, i DO love their sate buntel. 1 portion contains 2 big satays. Meat really tender. I've neverneat mutton that tender. Definitely will come back to try other menus

I ordered a portion of sate buntel but I did not expect that the portion was that big (Enough for two people, which really surprised me in a good way!)

The sate buntel was really tasty, no wonder that they sold out quickly! So you better visit them during or before lunchtime to avoid disappointment.

I also ordered beras kencur for my sate buntel's companion which I think it's too sweet for my standard, but if you are a serious sweet tooth, then it's not a problem.

One thing to consider is, it's better if you order a hot drink, because it can help you to dissolve trace of goat's fat inside your mouth.

They have the best sate buntel in Solo! Sate kambing is also good. Tengkleng and gulai is so so.

I came here after reading a review that this place is one of Pak Jokowi's favorite sate kambing since he was young.

But, I found that the menus weren't special. Tengkleng was difficult to eat because some part still hard. But satay and nasi goreng were good ????????
