This restaurant had a really nice decor inside out. They don't serve your typical "localized" japanese sushi rolls (they do have some), but they serve mainly sashimis and sushis.

This is a high end place with refreshing but pricey drinks (iced tea and mocktail like drinks) and salads. Chicken teriyaki rice was extremely salty... so was the Dobinmushi...

Fried salmon skin was refreshing, the sauce was tangy. Their yakitoris (skewers) like momo and tsukune was good, however if they could just use the meat instead of mixing it with the cartilage, it will be more tasty.

Also, they should retrain their servers to make sure they know what are they selling, which menu contains what, types of dressings they serve etc. Our server had to ask his colleague, who in turn asked another colleague about the dish (3rd person).........

Another great sushi place in west of Surabaya (inside Pakuwon Mall). It has great ambience. Perfect for family, meeting, or even just casual dining. Love its sashimi (so fresh). It has indoor and outdoor seating area. Price is relatively ok considering its food quality and ambience.

The best japanese restaurant by far in Surabaya. Cozy ambience, delicious and fresh sushi, especially the unagi. Tried the omakase, pricey but very good experience and taste. Sure will come back soon.

Here for the amazing decor and ambience. Food was okay, drinks were below my expectations.

Would pay for the vibe but probably wont be my first dinner choice.
