POP! Hotel Gubeng

A friend of mine said she didn't have a pleasant stay and doesn't recommend Pop! Hotel but I found it contrary. Me and my kids love to stay at POP! Signature Room and this is why
1. Though the room is not spacious, but it has decent window to see the view outside and get enough light
2. The water sometimes come out from the bathroom but the housekeeping help us to mop the floor
3. As we booked for signature room we're also entitled to have amenities which was given to us upon checkin
4. Slippers were given based on request, and since I requested specifically on notes, slippers are ready for me when I entered the room
5 . Breakfast was amazing since we ate at Harris Hotel Restaurant
6. We entitled to go to Harris Swimming pool once a day, and tickets are valid for 4 person
7.The staffs are pretty friendly, the house keeping even give me extra water. And one receptionist (forgot the name) helped me to carry my laundry into my car
8. Mini market, and some food vendors are available inside the premises and the price is reasonable
9.The best thing is, since I stayed at Signature Room, I was entitled to do laundry for 4 pieces (of clothes), in which I found it really helpful

Verdict: it was a really pleasant stay, and I promised my kids to go there again ????

It is budget hotel. Small room integrated with bath room module. No cupboard, all storage is open. Nice for short stay or transit.
But the employee service is extraordinary... 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel Pop Surabaya
The hotel room is small almost no space in the room only bed.
I must pay 50000 for deposit, which I don't like to do.
There was welcome drink, but the jar was empty.
Swimming pool belong to Harris hotel, it is allowed to acces but need to pay for towels.
The attitude of the recèptionist is too friendly as to many unnecessary questions.
it is the first time in the area, it is not friendly street for walking around. The road is too busy and crowded traffic.
The room is very small, wet from the shower tube leak, and from the splash of washing basin(it's in weird location).
AC is also droping water so floor more wet. I use towels bath to dry the floor though.
I don't think I am back to stay one day soon.
I dont recomend this place to other people experience my bad luck booking this hotel.

Room is comfortable and clean for the price, paid 220k a night for 2 nights without breakfast.
AC does not work well enough.
Bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning. Drainage is a bit full / blocked(?), so water in the shower drained a bit slow.
View is pretty good, apparently you are also allowed to use the pool in the harris hotel but I didn't try it.
Overall it was an okay budget hotel, location is pretty good.

Didn't have a pleasant experience at first but the management was kind enough to reach out to me and correct things.

Almost everything is okay but apparently they share facilities with another hotel, Harris, and there are some restrictions for Pop's guests.

The room is clean and nice. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The bed was good enough and comfortable. We stay for one night, and the kids were happy there. We booked the room via Agoda and we got a good price. Overall it's good but there was a strange smell in the lift and the AC was not too cool. Hopefully they could improve the service. But for the 2 star Hotel it's still recommended
