Thanks to google for recommend this place to me. I didnt expect there is a hidden gems in the alley. Surprisingly, I love the taste of their noodles. Mie baikut and mie pangsit are my fav. Their hongkong porridge is delicious and contains various topping and protein (pork, fish, squid, and another thing)

One of the best nasi empal suwir (shreaded fried meat) in town! The sambal (chilli) is great!
Hidden inside an alley of a busy street..

Ps: also buy the "kue pancong" next to the eating place.

Great nasi empal. The portion is quite large. Can feed 2 people and rather cheap for the portion (37k rupiah)

The noodle is also great.

The porrdige (chongee) is great too.

The swekiau is huge. But the soup is quite bland

The location is inside an alley. You can't bring car / other transportation inside the alley. But don't worry. You can park outside the allley. And just walk for like 20 metres to the shop.

10/10 would recommend

38k per portion for their famous nasi empal. 28k for (free range) chicken porridge + 15k for additional century egg. The eating place remain the same as it is since i first try it in 2012. And so does the taste.

Located in the small aisle called “Gang Pengampon 2”, u can ask favor from locals to guide u to get here.

Their best menu is Nasi Empal.
Its good for lunch, because the portion quite huge.

For bfast I suggest you to try their Suekiao (Fried/Soup) and Congee.

Located at Small Alley at jalan pengampon 2 Surabaya, always crowded and worth to try

Price is also moderate with great portion

you wont be regreted to have this one

A must try for visitors to surabaya. Nasi empal is ???? beef is shredded, soft u0026 sweet. The potato chips is very crunchy u0026 sweet.
Also tried the mie baikut. The pork is very tender u0026 juicy. The pork lard added to the noodle makes it taste ???? the restaurant is located in small alleyway. It is clean (indonesian standard)
