So-so for the price.

For the toilets :
There are only 2 toilet in the ground floor and 1 wasn't flushing. The other one had a dirty toilet seat.
4 showers, provide hot showers.
But the glass doors' rubber seals are teared up (most of them)
So it made the showers and toilets have no (at least half) privacy
Toilets and showers used by both men and women. Make it have more no privacy

Bedrooms (woman-only) :
Fresh and (idk. But hopefully) clean sheets.
Air-con turned on all day.
There were sign at the door said (roughly) "after 10 pm, please keep the room quite"
But there were 2 guests who checked in on monday and were not able to keep their mouth shut along midnight. Quite annoying, but then, what did you expect from an under 100k hostel right?

Staffs :
Friendly staffs.
Helped me out everytime i asked.

Breakfast :
Served right at 6 a.m.
Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast as I always hurrying in the morning. But they prepared it so well with the tea and coffee.

Location :
Near the Surabaya Gubeng Station (around 5-7mins walk).
But it's located in a dark streets and have no signs around so it was hard to find it at first.
Near 2 malls, quite easy to find foods and snacks around.
Near 2 minimarkets.
Quite close to Alun-Alun Surabaya (12-15mins walk).

It's a cheap and pretty good capsule lodging, you will get a bed out of six in a room. Unfortunately in my room there are some regulars who booked the cell monthly, so the room reeks of smelly laundry. But the location is so convenient, it's in the middle of the city.

excellent strategic area. walk distance from gubeng train station and grandcity mall. cabin was fine. no bedbugs. breakfast is humble toast and jam. generous parking lots. the only minus is the bathroom needs maintenance atm

It’s nice, clean, cheap price and helpful staff
Came here when i have to transit in Surabaya from Semarang to Bali and need sleep badly. I came by train at 4 am and left at 10 am to the airport.

What a simply wonderful place to stay, the services are very friendly and satisfying. The room is clean and comfortable. Quick breakfast are available includes toast, coffee and tea. I suggest for everyone who watch this hostel on media don't worry. They already serve the best. Thanks Livvin Hostel Surabaya

This hostel is good place if you just wanna take a short rest after a long journey, but i think its a bit far from the tanjung perak harbor... about 7 km, well its not a bit. But the good things it is near railway station, you can walk several minutes to got there. I and my group check in for a group room, one room for many people so you only got the bed. There a bed for two or for yourself alone. An the bed is two floors wkwk. But you can choose to order a room for two or for yourself. The bathroom is good, there are cold and hot water for shower. I paid 60k for one night and got breakfast, there are bread with many jams, tea and coffee. I like the matcha jam so much. Oh free wifi of course. And this place is near surabaya icon, the suro and boyo monument.

Spaces were nice and private, and they offer a double bed which is nice as a couple. They also have blackout curtains which is nice since the lights are always on. Staff was friendly, shower was warm. They don't have lockers in the rooms, which is unfortunate, though they do serve "breakfast" which is simply toast, butter, and matcha cream, and coffee and tea all day, but that's more than most hostels offer. Walking distance to the train station and to a couple malls, good location.
