Great high-end kos/low budget hotel. I stayed here for a month and was thrilled. The staff are kind and attentive. When I got a bad cold, the girl at the very front desk went to buy me medicine! The location isn't far from the center of Surabaya, and it's close to several trendy restaurants and bars, but still in a quiet location. There is free WiFi and cable TV and public kitchen facilities. Plus, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in Indonesia.

Our stay at ikiru has always been excellent, kind, helpful, friendly staff. Clean well maintained rooms and great food for your breakfast! ☺
I've stayed at this homestay 3 times in the last 3 years and they have always maintained the same quality and service you rarely find in an expensive hotel. I highly recommend this hostel!

Stayed for 3 day and it was amazing. Clean room, good breakfast, the staff and owner are also friendly. They even give us a good bye upon leaving. But sadly some of the boardgame is missing. This is a family u0026 budget-friendly stay in Surabaya ????

This is what i called homestay. Feels like home. The bed is huge and very comfort. Decent bathroom. Parking is available during my stay. Price idr550k include breakfast for 4 (new year's eve). It has small library with many adventurous books. Dining room is nice. Free crackers, tea, coffee and water from the hot/cold dispenser. Staff is helpful. Snacks and softdrinks available to purchase. What i dislike is this is also a kost so at night other guests who owns car could be making noisy parking.

Decent rooms, and nice value for the price you are paying. The non-breakfast option is not recommended though. For 20K RP you get a nice breakfast for all the room guests. No need to cheap out on this

I had the most unforgettable stay with Yuvi at Ikiru! Beside everything being super clean and nice, the breakfast being amazing, same as the location. Yuvi also helped me organizing my Mt. Bromo trip and my train ticket and everything and sat down with me for hours even calling the hotels for me. My trip would have not worked out that well if she didn‘t help me that much I am so grateful to have stayed with her!!

They made a mistake with my breakfast giving me non vegetarian food even if I had requested vegetarian. But he place is nice and people really friendly. Also value for money is great. so must be 5
