Overall the food is good..the sambal is delicious..unfortunatelly the rice is not soft and warm enough for me..the price is very reasonable though..worth to try

Tried this local culinary but failed to meet my expectations. The eel was just okay and bandeng was average or below. Definitely wouldn't come back here.

The best eel restaurant in the town. Do you know why? This place gave us a bunch of chopped eels on a plate of sambal (we called it cobek). I found it so interesting tho because not all restaurants bravely served it like the way they did. The most exciting part also happens when you take the meals out. They still gave you the plate for you to take it out too. Good enough for saving money to buy cobek. Lol

Belut id Unagi in Japanese. It is fried and immersed in sambal. You can order the hotness degrees of the sambal, from not hot to extremely hot. Hygienes may be a concern for some. But it is delicious.
