Spending 2 days here with friends. Strategic location, near ITS and UNAIR. There's Indomaret inside the hotel and so many food stalls around. Clean room but the bathroom ceiling is dirty. Overall nice place to stay with nice price. The service is also good, friendly receptionist

I stayed for two days one night in this hotel. To be frank, the hotel room I chose was a family room type. It has a nice small living room once you walk through the doors. The children's room is located near the entrance while the the parents' room is situated at the further back next to the bathroom. The decoration of the room is actually pretty plain but a single picture frame is fixed on the wall to give it a boost. The floor has a wood-like design so it warms the ambiance of the room.

The hotel room I stayed in also provides the guest three packs of toothbrush and a toothpaste in it in case we forgot to bring one. The bathroom provided three towels on the shower rack. Water heater is also there, too! The hot water in the shower is pretty therapeutic and you can control how hot you want it to be. The bathroom is pretty small but it's enough for a bath. It has natural lighting, too, so we don't always have to switch on the lights (which saves energy).

Speaking of saving energy, Gunawangsa Manyar Hotel supports green living environment movement. It uses tags and printed texts encouraging visitors to save up energy, electricity, and water when not in use. For example, the electricity for the water heater is connected to the lights. Therefore, when you want to use the water heater, you will need to switch on the lights.

The parents' room is bigger than the children's room to be frank.

The hotel and apartment are in one tower. Nice pool. Fitnes centre need voucher from the front office. Room is small and outdated. But still ok. Complete cable TV. Medium speed Wi-Fi. Hot water runs well. Complete breakfast. Location is great. Not far from a traditional market.

Nice apartemen hotel in the central of Surabaya. The room quite big, as apartment model. The parking area quite big here as they have the outdoor parking as well.

It’s ok. Expect old and low maintained hotel, and it’s Surabaya, so sewage smell is almost inevitable.
Unresponsive staff, delay in getting your rooms ready.

My husband booked the room in a hurry without reading the reviews from ticket.com site because we were tired already and it was almost dinner.
He was interested because of the pool facility that our daughter requested.

The room is big, but quite rusty. This hotel is a part of some low budget apartment.
So the pool is shared by the hotel guests and tenants.
The bed linen seemed rather off. The color white was greyish. The sofa’s material was old with a cigarette hole on it ????
The towels were also greyish and smelled bad.
We’ve been to other hotel-apartment with cheaper rate before in Bandung, but it was much more presentable and cleaner.
They really need to do some rejuvenation of the room.
And the prices of room service foods are too expensive for a low budget hotel.
The foods at the restaurant were not very nice, but still acceptable to our tastebuds.
Children above 3 had to pay 50k extra if both parents take the free breakfast. Not worth it. So, my husband didn’t join us for breakfast. ????

This hotel was great. We take a family room, it was spacious. But we little bit disappointed, cause the bathroom is really small. I can't bare to squat in the bathroom.... the staff is friendly and helpfull...
