Location is great. Room is convenient and feels enough for 2 people. Water heater is not that great and shower lacks of pressure. Staff are very helpful and act fast when they are needed. Cleanliness in the room is okay, could be better.

Grand Darmo is a hotel that I really like. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean and fragrant, the location is also very strategic, right behind the Bungkul Park. Many restaurants in the vicinity that can be used to order food online. There is also a microwave and mini fridge in the room, besides that there is also a water heater, a large work desk and two chairs.

In the heart of Surabaya city. Surrounded by local food and the ambiance is so warm. Their room is more spacious than its the photo but the amenities need more improvement.

Grand Darmo got pretty good location. it has calm surrounding neighborhood and many restaurant around. Different with many apps description, i think regular rooms only got about 25sqm. They got microwave oven as another good point

Nice hotel in a great location for our needs. Good reception, we checked in early and had no problems, which was lucky. The room was clean and fresh with water, kettle, toiletries and towels, plus an integrated toilet/bidet and good shower

Sorry to give 2 stars… I arrived from Jakarta after 8 hours driving at 1 PM. So we really need to take a rest… but those unflexible ladies at the front office only allowed us to check in at 3 PM, if i want to do early check at 1 PM in i need to pay 130k….. maybe its not a big additional money, but those ladies really lacked of emphaty…
So I came back at 5 PM after having lunch and spending time in the mall.
After checked in I enter the room and found NO towel, clogged wash tub drainage, the wash tub faucet only puts out HOT WATER, and mossy bathroom tiles. So I had to call room service and technician…
Basically compared with the price their room is spacious… but they really need to work on maintenance and cleanliness
Too narrow parking space, so it was very difficult to park your car especially at night.
One more for consideration… so many roads to the hotel closed by police at night. So if you guys not familiar with the roads in Sby, its gonna a be super difficult to go back to this hotel after 10PM if you only rely on Google Maps

Room was wide, good service. Just that the hot water wasn't running.
Oh but it has a kettle (a must), a microwave and a mini fridge.
