Established in 1989, Elim Restaurant is one of famous restaurant in Surabaya.

This restaurant is a family of famous Santong Cwie Kiauw Mie depot in Pasar Atom (正山東水餃 - Zhèng Shān Dōng Shuǐ Jiǎo).

Therefore you also could find the Santong cwie kiauw mie here, no need for long queue like in Pasar Atom.

This restaurant also has many variant of Chinese cuisine like : cimtu baikut, Elim fried chicken, quail egg ifumie, koloke, kolobak, fried rice, etc.

The taste are delicious, try it.

One of the important thing, the owner is very humble. It feels that you like in home enjoying your mother's cuisine.

One of the legend of Chinese restaurant (non-Halal) in Surabaya.
The best menu is shantung ciau ce, should visit and try this menu when visiting Surabaya.

Old-school chinese food restaurant in North Surabaya area. Food is simply delicious and the taste remains authentic since 1990s. Koloke, bubur ayam, and their legendary mie santong are all-time favorites (younger generations should try these). For those who live outside Surabaya, you can order their selected menu such as frozen-packed cwie kiauw mie (35000 for noodle and 2-pc kuotie) - I literally eat their noodle every single day.

Straight forward back Street drop in...owner speaks a little English! But, this is authentic Chinese little diner. No dim sum but noodles. Oodles of noodles. thelargeformatphotographer.

Good old fashioned Chinese food. Reasonable price. The air feels a bit musky, probably due to old building.
