My favorite place for jogging in the morning. Visiting this museum will give you a memorable experience. It's located in a village surrounded by fields, trees, and rivers. It's quiet and peaceful. Offering you fresh air and an atmosphere of village life. You can learn an heroic moment of Indonesian Military whilst enjoying the view of the nature. Kill two birds with one stone, right?

Plataran monument is located in the Plataran area, Selomartani, Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The existence of this Monument is a place of battle between members of the TNI with the Dutch Army until the beheading of a TNI commander, Lieutenant Husein. This monument was built on the initiative of Maj. Gen. Wijogo Admodarminto and was inaugurated on November 11, 1977. This monument was built to commemorate and pay homage to the nation's cadets, especially those in Yogyakarta who died during 1945 to 1949.
