Dan salah satu upaya pembenahan diri yang mendasar adalah dengan merubah image Rumah Sakit Jiwa melalui penggantian nama dan logo rumah sakit melalui sayembara kepada publik untuk memaknai substansi layanan baru yang terdiri dari pelayanan kesehatan jiwa secara komprehensif, pelayanan umum dan pelayanan rehabilitasi NAPZA. Sayembara diselenggarakan pada bulan Juli-September 2003 dengan tim juri antara lain GKR Hemas dan telah berhasil menentukan nama dan logo RS yang baru yaitu Rumah Sakit GRHASIA Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Keputusan ini ditetapkan melalui Surat Keputusan Gubernur DIY Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X No 142 tahun 2003 tertanggal 30 Oktober 2003 dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi tetap. Petugas sangat ramah sekali, pelayanan disesuaikan dengan antrian. Hanya setiap kali kunjungan ke sini, selalu antri suangggaaaatttt lama di loket apotek. Ada baiknya petugas ditambah atau sistem dirubah supaya mempercepat pelayanan. Untuk mendapatkan obat, paling tidak butuh waktu minimal 1,5 jam menunggu di loket apotik saja. Jika obat tersedia di berbagai apotik luar mungkin tidak masalah…. Jenis obat relatif hanya tersedia di RS jadi ya mau nggak mau harus menunggu berjam-jam.
