Since September 2019 we rent an apartement in WR Simpang Lima and we enjoy staying there very much, coz of its perfect location in the heart of Semarang and the beautiful view on Simpang Lima itself.
BUT: The maintenance of the whole building is just a mess. WR offers inhouse laundry for Rp50000 on 3 machines incl dryer. But 2 of them are since our arrival in Sept. 2019 "under maintenance". Nobody cares about get them working again. If you ask, the parts are still in Jakarta and will come back soon, thats it.
23rd floor, re-creation, pool, fitness area. If you rent inWR, you pay automatically also for those amenities. But here everything is damaged, in a very poor condition and the fake wooden floor around the pool is just dangerous to your feet and cries for injuries.
Sometimes the poeple just left their rubbish behind, drop their cigarette butts all over on the floor even if it is a non smoking area and ashtrays around. They are selfish and dont care about others, they just ignore the rules. On the other hand, nobody of the staff or the management is doing something against. They just accept.
The entrance to the gym is completely damaged, just scrap, you cannot even open the door normally.
The curtains of the roof top restaurant are supposed to be white, they are black of dirt. Imagine how the kitchen must look like.
Al-in-all, in view of maintenance the whole Management here fails in every respect and the excuse of "no budget" fails here too, because the 23rd floor reached an unacceptable status for a 3 or 4 star apartement complex / hotel.
All complains from our tenant side have been just ignored, thats why we share our impressions and experiences here.
