Good place to stay for a family vacation because of the location. A bit disappointed that the hotel did not fulfill our request for the connecting rooms when we have booked a month prior, no information or confirmation in advance or prior to the day of the check in regarding this matter. Breakfast was quite ok, more carbs dishes provided (nasi, nasi goreng, bihun goreng, potato wedges/corn cobs and pastas) there were only few proteins served (we only found cah sayur and ayam opor/ikan asam manis). Staff were nice though it's a bit unusual for not having any guard or staff on standby around the pool area. When we asked for the swimming towels, the staff told us to use the towels provided from the room, but the hotel should understand that towel used after swimming will surely be drenched and unable to be used for the shower in the room. We had a problem with the door in one of the rooms we booked but the staff was able to fixed it after 3x of calling the receptionist.

Location wise is very strategic, as person who like walking, there’s no other way to sightseeing the neighborhood by walking, we did Chinatown, johar market, post kantoor, old city , batik village tawang train station at once walk. When this review is made, the price was reasonable.

The front office crews was friendly and helpful

We booked the executive room, and was spacious enough. Unfortunately the wiring system and lighting was bit odd. There’s a long table that I assumed is working desk, there’s no table light or enough light so tend to be dark.

There’s a coffee kettle that require to be plugged in but there’s no plug near the coffee and tea station so we have to-find our way by moving the kettle which is not practical

Due to the lack of ornaments in the room, the acoustic of the room is very sharp and sometimes can hear the echoes of our voice.

Despite of those things breakfast buffet is the only one that require to be stepping up. Tasteless and unappetizing, for such country or town that very proud of their culinary heritage, the quest hotel buffet breakfast is nowhere near that pride. Assorted fresh fruits literally translated only two fruits.

By saying that, I do believe the hotel got his potential and definitely will recommend this place to our colleagues whenever they like to visit the city

Budget Hotel with Budget Maintenance. Room Floor is quite dusty, bedsheet and pillowcase are yellowish with some stain. Some watery stain on the ceiling (Below AirCon) and the wall as well. Feeling awful to pay IDR 560k for staying a night here during a very high season weekend in Semarang, much higher than its normal rate.

Friendly staff, a lot place to eat by walk or car, many famous eatery around hotel. You gonna love it. Sure i will be back here again. Thank you Quest Hotel for you kindness ????

Pros:
• Strategic location at the center of Semarang city
• Located in front of convenient store (Indomaret). Super helpfull.
• Go green u0026 paperless technology. No paperwork administration during checkin. Full online check in process ????????
• Clean u0026 spacious room with balcony. Mantaps ????????
• Clean swimming pool.

Cons:
• Strong wifi signal, but unreliable internet connection. Very useless.
• During my visit, I had several electricity blackout in my room ????
• No swimming pool staff

Room Floor is quite dusty, bedsheet and pillowcase are doesn't seem to have been replaced, a lot of parking lot. few breakfast menu options, the restaurant dining table was not cleaned.

Need to wait for about 15 min to check in although i have arrived at 330pm, Room is not so clean and location is not in the main road so a little bit narrow especially when you would like to go out from the hotel to the main road.
