The center itself is quite impressive. The staff are quite friendly and accomodating. They also have good doctors who are very thorough in their assessment; moreover, facilities and equipment seem to be at the top of the line. The good service and facilities come with a high price - the medicine and professional fee is a really expensive! I paid over a juta for a simple routine eye check up for me and my son and another over 2 1/2 ++ juta for just lenses for 2 sets of prescription lenses (not including frames).
They say that they strive to implement good health protocol for COVID 19 prevention; however, the place still gets pretty crowded.
Another downside is that the optic shop is quite small and has limited frame choices. One disappointment is that it takes forever for prescription glasses to be finished, as they don't have a lab here (for progressive lenses they said it takes 7-10 days, I have been waiting past the 10th day and it's not yet done, which is already causing excruciating headaches!). They just reasoned out that they send it to Jakarta for processing. And if you don't personally follow up, you'll never hear any update from the clinic.
UPDATE:
Just a few minutes after posting my original review, I received a call from the clinic and they said that there has been an internal miscommunication. The nurse, with whom I checked earlier today who said my glasses are still in Jakarta didn't know that it has been delivered because apparently the guard who received it did not update the clinic staff. So not that bad. My progressive lenses are ready on the 13th day after ordering.
Thank you for your service.
