This is the first time my family and I have been to Semarang and my dad's friend told us to book a hotel which is around intersection 5, he said that the access is closer to anywhere. Finally my dad chose this hotel! To be honest, I thought it was less fun because this is an old hotel, but all of that disappeared when I saw the rooms, good service, good breakfast, very strategic hotel and next to a mall. Although the hotel is old, the room facilities are very complete, besides that the employees are quite responsive if we need something. The thing I like most about this hotel is the breakfast menu which is all delicious, I rarely find a menu that has taste. I like dimsum, chicken porridge, buffet food. I hope it stays consistent. Other than that, in my opinion, minor repairs such as dirty or stained seat mats should be replaced. Maybe there is a parking solution so that it doesn't get jammed, other than that it's enough, thank you for the best service for my experience in Semarang.

Room is good, exactly like the pictures on the website. Couldn't get an extra room key because our room is "new". Service is good. Location is great, near a mall and in front of Simpang Lima.

The hotel room is very old and urgently needs a major renovation/facelift. The toilet gets flooded after every shower. They served the same breakfast throughout our 6 days stay.

One of old hotel in Semarang, and I think they rebrand this hotel.
If you like attraction, then this is a very good place for you to spend your vacation. Located in the center of city, this hotel offer you city view and in the middle of business center. In the night especially on weekend, there are some attraction in the play field just across the hotel. You just need to walk less than 5 minutes to get there. There are malls just beside this hotel, food courts along the street, close to masjid and +/- 15 minutes to Ahmad Yani International Airport.
They have a good facility with reasonable price. Bath tub, hairdryer, pool for kinds, pool for adult, gym, buffet breakfast and good service.
FYI, we booked connected room and they are available.

was here for an event, and wardims, the elevator was a lil bit slow to wait and small too, there's no motorcycle parking lot?

Old hotel but nice to stay

Try to find hotel in Semarang for 2 days family trip. Finally, we chose this Grand Arkenso Parkview Hotel

The hotel is located at Simpang Lima in Semarang. This is a good location as this location considered at the central of the city. It was convenient to go to many tourist places from this hotel. For example, there is only 1.8 km from this hotel to Lawang Sewu. There were some shopping malls near this hotel such as Mal Ciputra and Plasa Simpang Lima. There were street foods near the hotel (walking distance). I can say that the street foods managed nicely. They were clean and tidy. The price was reasonable.

We drove the car to the hotel. There were valet officers to help you park the car as you cannot park your car by yourself. The check in process was easy and convenient. The office was friendly and helpful. We booked 3 rooms. The officer managed to give us 3 rooms at the same floor and close each other.

The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste was provided at the room. I would like to suggest to pay attention of the Air Conditioning as the hotel was quite old. I found that the air conditioning was not cold enough even though it still ok for us. Where was water dripping at the bath tub when I took a bath. I think it was because of the water flew at the edge of the bath tub and fall to the floor. We have tried to cover with curtain (as advised by the writing on the wall) but it was not successful.

The breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of variety of food. Mostly are Indonesian food.

There were swimming pool and fitness center available at the hotel. This located at the top of the building, so you can also enjoy the sun while swimming. I and my son enjoyed swimming there.

Overall, I can say we were happy to stay in this hotel. Just please take care of the maintenance of the equipment.

A very good but old hotel in Simpang Lima, Semarang

The parking lot in the front of the hotel is small, but the hotel will give valet parking for free, and your car will parked in 5th floor

The room is very good and spacious, but the tv is quite small

The breakfast food is good
