It is a rebranded Grand Inna hotel. While the hotel is big (and so were the rooms), it has a distinctly old aura to it. The bedroom, although spacious, seems to be a bit unkempt, and has a musty feel to it.

The room does offers a work desk, a small bedside sofa, but the bed itself was definitely of old springbed type

The breakfast spread was rather limited, definitely not up to standard for a 4 star hotel in major metropolitan city.

A very nice hotel in padang. This is the first time I've been to this area and the hotel service is excellent.

First of all, the breakfast. Kudos to the chef. The breakfast selection are very wide with tasty foods. I never expected a breakfast from hotel could be this good. The mac and cheese was nice, the glazed donut was superb, and the omellete was very fluffy an tasty. incredible to say the least.

The room is very spacious with standard ammenities. As expected from a 4 star hotel.
Although, I think the pillow should be replaced with a fluffier one.

Aside from that, the room service was great and support the guest need, especially when we need to check out early and you can serve full course breakfast as early as 6.o'clock in the morning.

Overall, the stay was pleasant and satisfactoy and I would consider to revisit this hotel when I come back to this area.

Room's quite old.. wall need to be fix, specially the wallpaper, bathroom lighting so gloomy..
The champion was the thursday breakfast.. particularly the "cap cay"... Awsome!

The room is clean, the lobby was spacious, some staff in lobby was busy and no one help us or offered to bring the luggage in to the room. I think the hotel manager should place stand by officer in the lobby or front office to asisst he hotel guest.

Hh…
where should I start,
I booked a smoking room with one bed and none is available upon checkin.
Hair dryer is useless, not functioning at all. The water kettle is working but the switch is falling.
the Sofa and chair is full of stain, the bathroom is still dirty. At night, the noise from their cafe on the ground floor is on until late night (I attached video that i Recorded at 11pm from inside my room on bed) and most probably its because their window is broken and impossible to completely shut it. The gym is not exactly functioning with only one machine for upper body and a pair of dumbell.
Positive things: The location is good, the room is spacious.

The lobby is very spacious and modern, but the 2nd floor is not like 4 star hotel actually. It's bit like old fashioned hotel (yes and it was grand in a previously and old hotel). And in the room they didn't provide liquid soap. They only provide small solid soap. Fortunately the shampoo is on liquid form.

Stayed overnight for few hrs. Room was good, clean, cool ac, perfect hot water. Order room service for burger, it was good. At center of town close to shops and culinary places.
