Mouthwatering dishes awaiting at the food counter. The aroma of spices is all around the dining area as we enter this air conditioned restaurant. The service was fast and friendly.

They provide 'padang' - the menu already ready and the other one is ala carte and the menu mostly seafood. I like the padang rather then Ala carte

Miramar Restaurant has been famous for the good taste of Indonesian food for years. The pricing is litte bit more expensive that the other restaurants. The packaging for nasi kotak is also good. Each package of nasi kotak comes with fruit and mineral water.

It used to be one of our favorite places to get food. Don't get me me wrong, the food still awesome as usual (or else I'll be handing out 2 stars), but the service has declined. Two of our orders were never came, said it's still on process, and we decided to cancel those late food. Little did they know that we heard them talking to each others that our food were served to a different group that came long after us. Shame.

BBQ chicken was the bomb. The spiciness and the bbq flavour mixed well together. Special tofu is also a must try. I liked how they served the rice with vegetables inside a banana leaf pack. It’s a must try venue in Medan.

I may be bias because I honestly only tried this one restaurant in Medan, but nonetheless I like it! Good food and nice staff. We ordered kari kepala ikan, ayam goreng, sate, and I actually forget the rest... But I remember all was tasty. Location wise it's strategic, located in their Kota Tua area.
