I had a nice experinence in this hotel.
Old but gold for me.
Nice breakfast n the cafe looks neat u0026clean
Good location just walking distance to the iconic mosque in medan
Some staffs need tobe more friendly so youall know how to be served
You need to provide water heater or tea pot in the room in case we need to make some coffe or tea and sony have to go down stairs for warm water.
Keep all the good things

I think this hotel is average. The lift only one and maximum only for four passengers so that I am not suggest to use this hotel for meetings. The toilet at the lobby really small. There is disinfectant chamber for guests at the entrance, which is not recommended to use. The decorations kinda old.

Good place for your stay in Medan city. The location is good, you can reach many public services and easily find food stallers for your lunch/dinner near to the hotel.

As an old hotel, their hotel services are also limited. They need to improve some of hotel facilities, such as hotel lift and room air conditioner. Although our room is quite comfy and clean, but the air-conditioner is broken. Their front office staffs who receive guests/customers/clients should be more polite and friendly as well. Last time when we were staying there, the front office person was not nice and he gave us wrong room number.

What we like from the hotel is that the breakfast is very good for a 3 star hotel. They provide local food such as nasi kuning, rendang, soto medan, also ikan kuah kuning. And all the taste is so yummy.

Do not ever come to this hotel. Too small for the price they charged to us. Restaurant is too small and people are SMOKING FREE there. Fgs there is AC turned on!!
When I got my first room, the room smelled cigarettes and when we complained to the front desk, she was annoyed and made a face to us and insisted "that room is smoke-free room!".
God knows that room smelled cigars!
So not recommended. You could pick better hotels in Medan.

Antaras hotel is 3 stars hotel located on sisingamangaraja street. This hotel not so big, so just have small lobby and mini retaurant and bar. But this hotel have good parking. Easy to notice from main road and public transportation. The food was so delicious with standard hotel food rate. You can find this hotel by walking along 5 minutes from great grand mosque medan.

Poor maintenance. Aircond not working. Make complaints but nobody come to repair. Only one lift to cater 6 level. After breakfast, i cant enter my room because key card not working. Will never stay here anymore.
