Staff is nice and rooms are clean. Hot water works though I couldn't figure out how to adjust the heat; the temperature was fine, though. There was a hot water maker and free coffee and tea which is always a plus. TV doesn't get very many channels and the room service food is expensive - 2 times the price of similar quality meals in the area.

Small but nice. Not to old, deluxe room quite wide enough for extra bed. Flat screen TV, tea/coffee table, free WiFi, clean linen. In town area, walking distance to local foodstall. Affiliated with OYO

For the first stay of 5 days I had good experience.
2 month later I had a second stay of nearly 2 weeks, based on which I had to reduce my review to 'bad'.

pro: large rooms with decent furniture and large window, relatively clean, secured basement car park (I realised a theft on my vehicle), good value for money

con: basic services for foreigners partially refused incl. reminding of confirmed booking, bad service quality, partially annoying staff, which is not comfortable with foreign travellers, theft from vehicle in carpark, hidden surcharges on room rate for foreign tourists, some rooms suffer from internal noise of convention hall (party all night high noise level)

details:

I did the only booking in advance (except ferry and flight) in one year travel via email 2 days before arrival. They confirmed.
When I arrived, the receptionist did not want to accomodate me and send me away.
With hard complaining on the email-booking confirmation he then gave me a noisy room.
The rate of 300 R. was good.
In reality I don't stayed in for 4 days, because I was to another city, but I rented the room through all nights appr. 2 weeks for storing vehicle and baggage.

When I came back I was sick at one leg and instantly to be treated in hospital. So in general I was a little slower as normal and needed more help.
Room service refused to cater me, because I do not speak bahasa indonesia. The restaurant is not really working as open restaurant ( they cater mainly to booked groups), so I selfcatered with the fresh operated foot from Alfamart.
Nevertheless I was chased out of my room intensely and with several trials every morning by the room boy, even I loud complained to see him.
From above several evening events with plenty of karaoke entertained me till after midnight.
Payed breakfast was only claimed few times during my stay, however 1 day entirely refused, because they closed their breakfast facility 1 hour before sceduled closing. As a single customer I was not worth to hold it until I came (9.00 ).

Laundry was extremely overprized and not washed at all. Spotty as before and really ! much more stinking of general sweat as before (like african laundry style) but to local tradition packaged with tons of plastic. I had to redo my laundry in a nearby shop to a good level of cleanliness and odor.

When I humbling visited my vehicle for the first time for 10 days after parking it at the secured car park in the motor bike section for hotel staff, I realised there were things taken out of the tool bag, which were hard to replace. They left the things, which were not suitable for motorbike. Thanks.

I payed in total about 4 million. The next money for my recovery stay in Makassar I passed over to another institute.

In general, this place is not recommended for non-muslim, foreign tourists.
I will suggest another local style hotel nearby
shortly.

Good budget hotel. You can find a room with 3 beds with affordable price here
