The lobby are big and clean, the services are great. The receptionist are also helpful. At first i was offered a smoking room when visiting, but since there is no other available room, i don’t have choice but to use the room for a night. They inform will prioritize my queue and directly change to a non smoking rooms once it was available. The breakfast are great, the food are good, and quite complete. It was a nice place to stay since it is also near the beach

Location is strategic, at city centre. Security is friendly, Junaedy. Asking something, come to him. He knows everything about Makassar.
Stayed one night at smoking room on the 5th floor, because I checked in with a heavy smoking friend. But I couldn't sleep well. It seems 5th floor is also hired with long term system. Some guests told me so. They frequently moved from one room to another most of the time, including late at night

The location is strategic, near the iconic place in Makassar. Unfortunately the service is not too good. In my last visit, I was struggle in parking my car. They have security station but there were no security there

Towels are so smelly, had better use softener and dryer for linen cleaning u0026 wash. Breakfast is ok, but staff is not ready on time. I'll not use again if towels are still smelly.
Oh special notice for visitors, when I arrive at lobby I went toilet and I saw a staff, he was just finished but never wash his hand and gone back to his job. Uhm... not under the COVID-19 circumstances, but the cleaniness of daily life... That's good or not?, you decide to stay.

Well done! Santika never let me down. Like i said before, Santika have the best hospitality act. Staffs were very friendly, nice, warm, proper, and polite. Good gesture without exaggerating it.
Thanks to Ms. Grace that take good care of me during check-in process. Really polite and kind. Big up to Ms. Sira as well, who help me with my wake-up call and breakfast to go.
The housekeeping staffs also really responsive and accomodate my needs.
The room has Santika standard, but i think it's bigger than other several Santika. The AC temperature works really well and achieve my preferred temperature.
Shower was okay. Equipped with rain shower and their infamous Freeze Mint shower gel and shampoo.
But, breakfast a bit dissapointing. Unlike other Santika, the don't serve jamu (Indonesia traditional health drink). Lack of variation, but the taste was quite good.
Thus, i still stick with my argument that Santika is the best 3-stars hotel in Indonesia. Well, you could consider Holiday Inn Express as well, but for now i think Santika is better.

Always being my best option for staycation. Room spacious, cleanliness is good. But little dissapointed for order room service and it’s need one hour to prepare (even though its just only fried rice and capcay ????) while staff only informed food already delivered to room but nobody’s coming bring my order for 1 hour waiting.

A relative clean hotel, near Losari Beach, a 10 minute walk. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops (some of them at Jalan Somba Opu), which make the hotel quite convenience. May be the lack of employee during the pandemic period, there's not ways the greeter/helper on the front door to help the coming guest with heavy luggage, on their high stairway.
