Went there for a diner with collegue.

Order Mix and Beef Coto. It taste really good! It got a good amount of spices mix with beef broth and thickens up with coconut milk. Its dense heavy flavour which i like. The table-side sambal, its not really hot but its gave even further dense flavour. The ketupat is also good! Its decadent and fulfilling.

The service is really fast and good.

This is the real and authentic Coto Makassar. They provide coto with some beef parts that we could choose or mixed parts like the one that I ordered by using a food delivery service.

Serve the coto with ketupat or buras, add the lime and then chilli sauce if you like spicy. I really love the savoury and unforgettable taste from this coto along with the tender beef ❤️

There are plenty of places sell this iconic Makassar dish but here is one of my favorites place to eat Coto. It is just recently they seem to change their chilli paste, I miss their fermented soy (tauco) based chilli but now it seems a little bit off. And also although they open till night. I would recommend to come here during the day. It seems the broth sometimes getting thicker at night.

They are really good and tasty. They are pretty well-known in makassar. This Traditional restaurant is on the top tier among few others. You’ll need 30.000 - 50.000 Rupiah or Approximately USD 3.00 to enjoy A bowl of coto, some ketupat/burasa,a bottle of mineral water, and some chips.

The taste was exceptional. I ordered coto with mixture of beef and others, then eat with ketupat. Visiting this restaurant during peak hours like lunch or dinner could be challenging, because the size of the restaurant is relatively small, little bit uncomfortable for a large group.

Taste : Their broth more on mild side rather than powerful spice. Lack of seasoning and spice. Meat is tender but contains a lot of fat. Some people mention they use milk or coconut milk to add richness in their broth.
Ingredients : Good ingredients.
Halal : Yes.
Price : Average.
Recommend Menu : Coto Daging dan Lidah.

Affordable price, generous food portion, generous toppings (fried onion, lime). This is a must visit place. I usually eat here once a week during every short trip to Makassar.
