The greatest mosque in Makassar downtown. There were demonstration and havocs happened at night in the past 10 years on the roads surrounding. The area feels unsafe past midnight.

Always happy to pray at Masjid Raya Makassar. The parking area is quite large, and the staff is always ready to arrange cars and bikes. The mosque itself is clean, and the cleaning staff are always available, particularly around the toilet and ablution areas. The water is always available, and happy to see that hand soap is also provided hanging at some areas...

Very comfortable mosque in Makassar. Located strategically in the middle of city. Very big, open space but not that hot. Beautiful!
