Budi’s place is heaven on earth. We arrived here pretty tired from backpacking around and this place was a bless. Private small villas overlook a garden where the only sounds are frogs, birds and water pouring from the many fountains. The restaurant is also super cute and you’ll have a nice breakfast in the morning. Perfect to stroll around the village of Borobudur with bikes as well as for taking a day off in a magical surrounding. The place also offers beautiful massages. No spa, no music, no soffused lights: just a real traditional javanese massage made by super professional massuers. I recommend the “strong” version but if you are sensitive please be careful. Please ask to Budi the 4 R philosophy of the place.

Great place, great food, and great host, making it an exceptional experience to stay here. Perfect place to escape from the tiring daily routine and "recharge" your energy back.

Me and my wife were there for two nites. And it was amazing peaceful retreat for those who are busy with city life. Authentic Javanese panorama with the vibes of Javanese traditional architecture. The room is spacious and decent clean with lots of ventilation for sunlight and fresh air. No worries, the air cond is functional and cold. They prepare mosquito reppelent, but i can’t see one musquito flying arround eventhough the place is in the middle jungle of their kingdom. Showering was also decent with hot water and huge windows. I was dropping deuce under the sunlight in the morning, what an experience. No worries about privacy inside the room, it has brick behind the huge window. Location is in rural area, around 10 minutes walking or 5 minutes driving from main road, and only 15 minutes to Candi Borobudur by car. Excelent food with limited choices. Hotel have to added more selection of food. Must try the nasi uduk, beef brongkos, and lamb tongseng in this hotel. Those are the best food i’ve ever try in my life. The name of the hotel is the same as the owner Pa Budi. Who is a very helpful and cheerful person. He and his partner Pa Edi and Bu Dina are extraordinary person, who always fullfiled our needs during our stay (my wife was having birthday during our stay, when i told them, they are directly prepare for mini surprise for my wife, love it), also when you want to travel around ask them first, they will give you the best tour guide with normal price. They keep personal touch towards the customer. I can’t wait to stay in this retreat again in coming future. This place is a must try to stay if you are planning to visit Candi Borobudur. Or if you just want to have a self healing.

The design of the hotel is just gorgeous. A team of professional staff are ready to offer their expertise. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast has ***y delicious selections. Perfect location a little away from all the crowds. Could not find much to do in the evenings in the locality.

A very nice and pleasant place for a reasonable price. Not much scenery within the hotel itself, however the surrounding areas gives a good relaxing atmosphere. The main lobby is a good place to chill out, an old piano waiting for anyone with a talent to play. Definitely worth checking it out, I'd surely visit this place again given another chance.

Peaceful and private place, quite far from city centre, clean room and bathroom, very nice shower with hot water provided, a lot of beautiful garden, back garden view is river, very suitable for retreat or personal time. Balinese architecture, rich in culture interior, also offers various activities. The only downside is there is only 1 chef, so ordering food in restaurant need quite a long time.
