A very popular place in the center of Ubud, however it doesn't take too long to get a table during peak times. Serves Indonesian and Balinese food and the menu will sometimes have a section to explain certain dishes which is nice if you like to learn about food culture. The food is of excellent quality and is one of the cheapest places I know.

Came here twice while staying in Ubud for a week, food is nice and very cheap. They have lots of different local dishes. Some of them are on “tapas” version and offer you the opportunity to try more options. They also serve local beers and rice wine. Payment can only be in cash.

Delicious authentic Balinese dishes by a great chef! Started off with the Jamu drink on ice (healthy tonic drink), while I looked over the menu. I was confused by all the options so one of the very sweet staff helped me with suggestions for the most popular Balinese dishes and didn’t try to oversell me anything, he made sure I knew how big the dishes would be so I didn’t order too much. I had 4 of the mini dishes in bamboo leaves which was a nice sampler of a few popular items. Soooo good, didn’t have room for dessert but it also looked yummy!

Amazing! Even tho had to wait like 15’ to get a table and ended sharing table with other ppl, the food was great, the prices even better!
Tried all the small plates available, tapas style Indonesian food is a great way to describe it.
Coconut pancakes were delicious.
Kinda pushed by the staff to pay cash.

The atmosphere is good with relaxed music. I observed quite a lots foreigners dining there. That’s why I wanted to give a try. However, the main course I ordered isn’t that good. As a local, I think I won’t recommend this warung if you want to try authentic Indonesian food.
Regarding the dessert, Kelapon was kind of weird taste which isn’t taste as normal as I ate before.

Great food and ate here several times. The small plates are exceptional value. Only downside is they must all be cooked beforehand as the food is only lukewarm. The bregedel are piping hot though and so delicious. Dada gulung also made fresh. Staff are quite formulaic, as is the whole place but they are onto a winning recipe with the whole place as the queues of people show. Two of us ate for 100k (no beer just juice). Very cheap and tasty.

Fun Balinese restaurant with plenty of local offerings. Very tasty and well priced! The tapas type Indonesian dishes are served in little banana leaf boats (photos). Very cute. Well worth a visit.
