This is my third visit to Sawah Indah. Their crispy duck is a must-try! The chicken satay also tastes so good.

A bit pricey as I paid about 150 for a meal with fish. But the fish is just perfect. The one that is made in a bamboo cone is extremely delicious.

The restaurant vibes is really nice and surrounding by nature. I’ve got the bamboo fish and my partner had duck bamboo one. The staff was very kind. I’d recommend the experience

Considering its service and its view, I kinda like it. But the food was standard and not delicious (for me). Looking at the price also quite a bit expensive. The view, on the other hand, was amazing, green rice paddies at the back is highly recommended. Gazebos near the entrance also good. But the wind can be strong during the rainy season, so pay attention to it. I think that’s all.

This Restaurant is absolutely beautiful….the setting, the ambience and the food are all absolutely amazing and second to none I have ever experienced ….
However We did feel that the service, although also excellent was a little too consistent whereas we had wanted to be left alone a little more in order to enjoy the ambience , experience and amazing food????

A clean restaurant with attentive and polite waitstaff. The food was wonderful - I got the bamboo fish which came out streaming hot, and she got the crispy duck which came with deliciously fried duck skin and a tasty vegetable soup.
The highlight of this place, though, is that out has a wonderful view of an adjacent rice paddy field and is out of range from the main road such that it is peacefully quiet. There is also a variety of fun seating options that includes a number of gazebos.
We enjoyed a relaxing lunch, but I imagine a sunset dinner here to be quite romantic as well.

The afternoon meal here was definitely one of the best meals of my trip to Indonesia. I was introduced to this restaurant by the driver who took me to Ubud for the day. There's quite a large car park. The waitress escorted me in and offered me a choice of sitting cross legged under a shady canopy or a conventional table. I chose the latter option. She went through the menu with me, patiently explaining the different items. As I was keen on tasting a dish with lots of zing in it, she recommended that I have the 'Paket Bebek Bakar Sambal Matah' (Roast Duck with Sambal). It came with an iced tea and a rice pudding. I also ordered an avocado juice. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. The time waiting for the food seemed to pass quickly because of the beautiful scenery all around the restaurant. The tables are well spread out, there is a prayer room, an area that sells souvenirs and plenty of well maintained toilets. The young waitress was friendly and had a pleasant demeanor as did the cashier at the desk. All in all a very nice restaurant with a great ambience. A must visit place during any trip to Ubud
