I like this place because not many tourists come. I found only local came to this place. There will be 2 entrance.
One for the visitor to the temple, and one for the visitor who wanna use the public bath.
If you wanna visit the temple, you need to pay the entrance fee 20K for locals and they will lend you sarong and selendang.

I will comeback next time to use the public bath. It's very popular among the Balinese to bath here with the natural springs from Gunung Kawi. Make sure to bring towel and all your bath equipment.

A much quieter experience than Tirta Empul down the road. A peaceful grounds that you can tour in less than 30 minutes for a reasonable entrance fee. We saw some tourists participating in a ceremony so not sure what that was about. Sarongs available to borrow on site.

Such a beautiful Temple. There's much to see and very peaceful and Serene. There's a cost to enter the temple and it is required that you wear a sarong if you are not wearing long pants or something to cover your legs.

I don't think temples should be rated online. As a place of interest definitely worth a visit or more. It has several basins with many water spouts, two spectacular ponds with very clean water and the pura part.

Beautiful temple. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Entrance 30K per person.
Parking 2K.

Sarong hire included in the price.

Don’t confuse this with Gunung Kawi (the kings tombs)! We typed ‘Gunung Kawi’ into Google maps and were brought to this location. Based on reviews (that are in the wrong place) I thought Gunung Kawi included both the water temple as well as the kings tombs.

There are two places called Gunung Kawi. This temple is called: Pura Tirta Dawa Gunung Kawi Sebatu shortened to Gunung Kawi Sebatu. I found the kings tombs by using ‘Pura Gunung Kawi Entrance Point’ or ‘Candi Tebing Gurang Kawi’ in Google maps.

There is a 12 minute drive between the Gunung Kawi’s, so you can easily visit both.

The temple was beautiful, we are glad we visited (by accident). It is one of the nicest temples we have visited in Bali. Quiet and well kept. We visited at 8:30AM but I believe it stays quiet throughout the day. If your deciding between the temple and the kings tombs I would choose the temple!

I didn’t visit Pura Tirta Empul, so I can’t compare. (We planned to visit Pura Tirta Empul the day before, but it was extremely busy in the afternoon so decided we wouldn’t enjoy the touristy experience.)

We are very lucky because the time we coming there that we didn't bring any canang for offering, but nice priest over there tell us that we can buy canang in parking lot. He also tell us the history of this temple.

As we are Hindunese and already bring some sarong and praying things so we can go trough to holly water ponds to take out all the bad luck. There is 2 kind of pool, one for public and the others just for people who want to praying.

The temple and surroundings have beautiful scenery, clean and toilet to changing your dress. They also provide sarong for those who didn't bring it.

The only one disturbed just some tourist who came to holly place and dress up half naked and taking picture without feeling guilty. Looks like uneducated person at all.
