Delicious vegetarian Indian food that is reasonably priced. Friendly staff and relaxed settings. Still open when many other restaurants are closed. This restaurant was one of my favorites in Ubud.

Great concept. Posh and dosa was good. But everything else either lacked salt or taste. We ordered aloo paratha, aloo gobi, dal khichri and chai. And of course poha and Masada dosa.

The place looks nice and the food is average if you really enjoy vegetarian Indian food. Chapatis are good but didn’t love the rajma I had. It had very minimum spice (I don’t like spicy but I like mix spices). But overall I had massive gas after the food for a few hours. I think the beans were old or used after defrosting them or something. I had a severe pain after eating them for 36 hours in my head. So that’s a big thing.
The front old lady is not the nicest imo according to Indonesian standards but I could be wrong so go there anyway.
The food came after around 25 mins and seems like it was sitting there for a bit. (It wasn’t cold regardless)
So overall I’ll give this is 4/10. :)

I've just finished the masala dosai ordered by Gofood. The best I had not only in Bali but even in India. Very tasty, fresh, and perfectly balanced in spices. The chutneys were delicious, the sambal also. I was hesitant to write this review because sometimes they have the opposite effect: people then rest on their laurels. So, keep on making good and authentic Indian food like this! Don't change the cook!

I sampled the masala dosa which has a delicious freshly prepared spicy filling. You can have three chutneys with it. The dal was a little too spicy for my taste. Chai proper Indian style, friendly staff. I would sample their food again.

Review update, 2nd visit: The food is OK... all the food was different from my previous visit. We even ordered some of the same items but quality was so so... I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here unless you're desperate for Indian vegetarian and nothing else can be found. ... I surely wont visit again.
First visit; Excellent pure vegetarian Indian food. We had the masala dosa, paneer bhurji, gopi masala sabji, roti, lassi (mango and raspberry), and raw chocolate. Everything was excellent, probably the best food in Bali so far. What's funny is that it's owned by an Australian, run by locals, and they make great Indian food, that too pure vegetarian.
