Really nice place, super comfy seating, great service and good wine selection! Plus this place rivals the best calamari I’ve ever had, whoever their chef is knows how to cook calamari properly! This place is an overlooked hidden gem!

I got everything I paid for, but not more. Solid four stars, maybe 4.2? I had the tenderloin. It was a tad too salty, and had a fishy aroma (no literally it smells of fish). It was good, but not what I ordered a steak for. The sauce was inspired by rendang and it was better on the fries than the steak. (If I wanted my beef to taste like rendang I would've ordered rendang, from another place). I also ordered the long island ice tea and it was nice.

Tenderloin steak was 99k, long island ice tea was 80k. Price is about average.

Lovely meal. I had the tenderloin steak with pepper sauce and my Waite had the nasi goreng (beef randeng) steak cook to perfection and rice dish was big enough. Only have 4 stars because of the mosquitoes. Although when a lady saw me swatting away she did bring a spray. I did forget to spray myself before we went out as I do attract mosquitoes more than anyone I know. So just be aware.

Average service and slow in bringing out something as simple as nasi goreng. Especially when I was the only one in the restaurant. I’m probably not going to return. Just ok experience

After trying almost 10 different restaurants in Ubud, we went to Maluku and had so amazing food, that we went there a second time already (and it won't be the last :-) ).

Prize is average with the other restaurants close by, service was both times great and food quality and taste is awesome. Thanks a lot for that culinary experience!

We were greeted but service isn't great. We made a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child at the KAFE. When we arrived the person mending the counter at the first level showed us to the table that was not suitable for us as it was more of a one sided bench table. When my husband asked if there were any other tables, the staff asked us to look for our own table at the 2nd level. We found our own table in the end.

Food wise it was okay. The Jamaican chicken and Jack fruit Mushroom dumplings were nice. The aglio olio and cashew nut curry weren't desirable - aglio olio was bland and cashew curry had a more soup consistency than a curry. The green spinach didn't even soak the curry. Certainly not a curry by Asian standards.

Barely tasted the coffee in the Mocha.

Definitely not recommending this place to anyone. For a mid-range restaurant, you're better off spending your money elsewhere..

Wonderful food, lovely staff, great service BUT payment can be difficult if done by credit card. Their credit card machine “has a weak signal” so may not work.

Take cash out before going because there isn’t a back-up system if card machine fails and staff aren’t aware of different atms in the area which makes the whole experience more difficult than it should be.

(I’m sorry to them that I was difficult but it was just a very frustrating situation!)
