Quiet beach with black sand. It is nice to visit this place. You don't have to pay the entrance fee, but you can't find any public toilet or shower to clean up after swimming or playing with the sand. There is a big restaurant nearby to order some food and beverage.

I really wanted to visit a black sand beach and was sceptical about if the sand was really black or just a dullish dark grey sand. I can confirm that the sand is a rich black that sparkles like black glass and is extremely fine.

Just beautiful.

The beach itself is not suitable for swimming as there is a rocky reef just offshore and it is very rough. There is a small section where surfers go further along the beach.

The beach also has quite a lot of debris that marrs its beauty - both rubbish from the tide and rubbish left by visitors. Such a shame as the black sand truly is spectacular. Please take your trash with you.

If you want to spend time in a serenade place with some local exercising, not too crowded, I would recommend this beach. I love to do my evening exercise here or sometimes just sitting and read my books.

Quite blacksand beach close to Sanur. However, lots of trashes when we visited. Probably it’s trash season (coming from other area).

Lovely to see again so different black sand Indian Ocean clear, but some of the areas around need a lot of work as pandemic hit hard, some just waiting for guests as I passed the swan resto u0026 lounge a beautiful restaurant

Black sand beach with big waves worth to visit despite not clean. Nice for a walk or a for a small run.

The most impressive at this beach is volcanic black shiny sand. And small oasis with palms giving the shadow. Sometimes water can be dirty and too big waves for swimming.
Also there is some really nice cafes where you can have good food. Perfect place for art shootings, especially in white wear for making contrast colors.
