The grounds are incredible. Some of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been in. They really made the stay worth it. My daughter loved the cute bunny running around and staff gave her food to feed it. Very cute. Staff were very friendly and kind. I had an amazing massage in the gardens organised by the hotel. Very reasonable price. The room was quite ordinary. Great value for money though and again the Gardens are so stunning.

Quite disappointed bearing in mind the owner is an European person and I was expecting something to these standards.

They did not change the bedsheets during our whole stay there. The towels seemed as if they have not been washed, neglected (literally falling apart) and as if someone has cleaned the floor with them which was despicable.

The tiles on the floor were atrocious, not sure when was the last time they cleaned it. The toilet seat was so old that it seemed used and that was the first thing we saw in the room.

The staff are nice but 5 people were serving the owner who was pretending to be a guest when they clearly have to focus on other more important things.

Shame on the owner for not putting more effort in this place …

Great location at the south end of town yet close to get to downtown as needed (a bit of traffic at the nearby intersection but not as bad as it seems). Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Amazingly lush grounds with unique lagoon-esque pool. Spacious rooms, most with patios/balconies. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the hit-or-miss WiFi, but still a great value for money regardless. They are planning on opening the adjacent property soon with incredible pools and treehouses…definitely worth checking out!

The place was nice, beautiful, big pool and big room.

Toilet is clean even they have small ant but is ok..
Friendly staff
Is nice place in the middle of the ubud area when busy street but is like hidden place. Never disappoint with this place

Our staying at Green Birds we’re great. It a little outside of Ubud center and takes 4 mins ride by scooter to the monkey forest. We stay at the France room. The Villa has really pretty decor, trees. And the rabbits are so cute. The room is clean but if you open the door for more 2 mins, bugs and mosquitoes can easily fly in. We had our breakfast at the Garden. There’s a rotten wooden table and rotten chairs. I suggest the owner change the table into a new one. Cuz our drink could easily be knocked over. However we had a good time here.

Green Bird Villas

This was a lovely in a great location. Its a small intimate hotel with big plans. The owner is very passionate about his surroundings and has planned a breeding programme for local birds planning to release back to the wild. I know some don’t like the idea of breeding programmes but sometimes its the only solution to the damage we humans do. Moving on, the rooms and grounds are kept very clean and to add to the beautiful birds bunnies hop around the grounds. Nature is every with little frogs jumping and croaking along the paths in the evening. If you don’t like nature well ask yourself why you came to Bali! So nature is everywhere but only the cute kind. Wayan Yudatama has big plans for his resort and he and his family are working hard to make this dream a reality. So, he is creating a beautiful wedding venue just beyond the main forecourt and it is truly breath taking. I can only imagine the fun any wedding party would have booking out this development so book to look before the rush. He hopes to complete within the next few months with civil ceremony held on the grounds. I include this video because I know weddings take a long time to organise and completion is a little way off but if your thinking of tying the knot next year, its worth a serious look. Its in the centre of busy Ubud but set back from the street so road noise is not an issue. You are walking distance from great restaurants and bars, salons and attractions. After spending your wedding ceremony here my next stop was Senetan Villas and spa so when you wave goodbye to your wedding guests and need a total unwind, venture 40 minutes up country to this romantic paradise which my only regret as a solo traveller was not having anyone to share this little piece of heaven. That said such beautiful people, such beautiful surrounds in both location I never felt alone. Happy travels people and I love Bali.

Been staying in green bird villa for a month. They have a pretty garden and cute bunny ????.

The linen sheet is old and dirty.
