This is the BEST active tour we ever participated. Go-ebikebali offers a solution for everyone in my family (My parents and my two sons) to participate in a beautiful countryside tour. The staff is very professional. Loved the electric bike in a small group and the fact we could exchange between the motor and manually pedaling the bike when we wanted. We started near the Ubud Centre. This is a big plus as we have more time to enjoy riding in a scenic road. We stopped over several places to view rice paddies/terraces, temples, local villages, and a coffee plantation. The guide is super friendly and very helpful. We took a lot of pictures. We finished with a good quality, mixed Western and Balinese lunch at a modern restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ubud in Bali is a wonderful place with so much to see. To see all its wonders on a bike tour is one of the most memorable tours I did in Bali. I am 49 and even I was very interested in doing a bike tour to have close encounter with Ubud’s beautiful scenery I was having doubt if I could handle the riding part. Wow this was a amazing trip. I love the electric bike. Uphill is what makes it hard for me to do a bike tour but electric bike makes it so easy for me. I had the option to ride regular without power ,to ride with power assistance and if I wanted a break, to let the bike do the ride with full power. The riding was very easy and a lot of fun. We were able to go where cars could not and cover much more ground and sights than trekking could. We were able to watch everything closely and get to smell and feel the nature. Our tour guide Pak Ketut was knowledgeable and gave interesting explanation on Bali culture and traditional ways of life. We stopped at village temples to learn Balinese community life and religious belief, talked to farmers at the rice field and watched old fashioned rice harvesting and visited Balinese house compound which gave us a peek on Balinese daily life. We also stopped at a amazing rice terrace for great photos. Our last stop was at a luwak coffee plantation where we saw the luwak (an animal called Asian palm civet ) and learned how luwak coffee was made. We enjoyed coffee and tea tasting which was a spread of 14 flavors. My daughter loved the high swing at the plantation where you could swing above the rice terrace with the beautiful rice view around. There were two assistants who helped to clear traffic to help us to ride through safely. Very thoughtful. A wonderful trip and would highly recommend it.
