Came with family from Sanur. It was important to stay close to Parq Ubud and something affordable as we are looking for villa for long stay. I liked this hotel by photos and reviews. Staff is very nice, room big BUT very hilumid inside, towels, linens are so old. AC is right in front of the bed, I don't like to sleep and feel the cold air on my head, ears. The shower, cabin itself moldy, water drained. Awful smell. Insects. And worst of all is the toilet seat. Gross.

The picture was good but REALITY MUCH BETTER. Super CLEAN Big room, king bed with super nice pillows. Nice balcony with rice paddies view and some contructions ????.
You'll get a surprise with a super big bathroom plus big wardrobe and great bathup.
THE STAFF ARE VERY VERY SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful. I will be back to this place. The price is good, the breakfast is AWESOME.

The biggest scam in Ubud. So the pictures of a hotel and suites overlooking the rice patties are a huge scam. There is a massive construction project happening in the area that our room was overlooking. Construction workers are working 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Everything from steelworkers grinding and welding away, to brick workers running their cements mixers and gravel trucks, to bulldozers and ground moving equipment digging and working non stop. There is no manager at this property and when requested was always informed he is at another property and might come in again in a day or 2. In the 5 days we stayed there I did not get to see the manager once. He is obviously staying away as he does not want to deal with customers asking questions. When I questions the general staff about the construction and the failure of the hotel to warn us before arrival i was simple told our booking is non refundable and that the hotel has not had the chance to change the marketing pictures. Breakfast service is slow and pretty much non existent. If you are lucky enough to receive it is is pretty much 2 eggs, 1 piece of toast, 1 small mushroom and one slice of tomato. The problem is although you give your order the day before, it is never ready on time and the service is absolutely pathetic. We will receive our eggs and when we ask about the toast we it will only be delivered 35 minutes later, they dont care if you eat a cold breakfast here.

Amazing place with large rooms , close to ubud center , quiet and cozy environment . Nice morning breakfast and daily houkeeping. Very obident and lovely polite staff very helpful. Trainee staff miss Komang Bintang and all other staff was very courteous, . Love to come back again in future. @amazing 6 nights with unforgettable memories to take back... ????

Nice large rooms, which were clean and comfortable, but looked a little used. It located a little bit outside ubud so it is very quiet and not crowded. There is a shuttle bus that brings you to the city centre and also picks you up again. The last pick up is 11pm, so if you need to be picked up earlier than that only 5 pm is offered for free. In case you wish to be picked up in between you need to pay 50k. A scooter can be rented for 60k per day.
The breakfast was good, but portion size was moderate, I personally had to get some extra food later on.
Staff was always nice but there were some communication issues as the spoke little English.

The hotel is located beneath rice paddies in a quiet area a bit outside of noisy Ubud. The staff is very caring and helpful. I didn't expect such a room for a budget price. The room has a nice balcony, shower, bathtub, TV, DVD Player, closet, a lot of space... Everything was clean, even twice a day, leaving good night greetings on a banana leaf. Also included was a nice breakfast with fresh juices, fruits, eggs etc. I would recommend Gita Maha hotel to basically everyone, it was a very pleasant stay and I will definitely book a room again if I'm around Ubud.

This has to be our favorite place that we stayed here in Bali! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We even joined in one evening on the evening offering. They also had a free shuttle into the Ubud center area so that was pretty lovely.
