Fantastic nature trail. About 2 km easy walk on a stone paved road. Amazing animal sounds and close-up jungle experience. I started from the south and passed by an astonishing temple and waterfall. Highly recommended experience. No entrance fees.

We visited this place in the evening but could not complete the entire trek so the review is as per our limited trip. The place is accessible through some stairs and about 2 km long. During peak hours of sunrise and sunset expect a lot of crowds. There are very few places to stop without causing a traffic jam behind you. The place however is serene and since it is quite close to Ubud town, it can be visited in the evening.

Great hike. It can get hot. Take water. Beautiful views. There are places for drinks etc. near the end. If you get close to the village amazing restaurants and places to stay. There are a few art galleries.

Nice and easy walk. Average view and lots of traffic during peak hours, though. There are places along the way where you can rest and have some drink, which was nice. It's a good getaway if you are staying in the busy city, but there definitely are better sights in Bali that are more spectacular.

The track itself is mid-moderate intensity but should be OK for one who doesn't exercise much. Go early, you can see houses in the distance along the way as well as some rice fields. Was told by a couple on the trek that the actual route is 10 km if u like. After the past 2km, it was shops and resorts. Found a lovely resort with nice infinity pool view.

The skies were very clear. Not sure if this is the normal setting but make sure you wear sunscreens.

The walk have its ups and downs, literally. With the sun shining brightly, it's very refreshing to have a bottle of cold water.

The walk itself actually doesn't have a predefined set. You could stop anywhere or just continue until you find the main road again. If you continue to walk until you are near the main road, you will find a restaurant named Bamboo Kitchen Ubud where you can relax after walking maybe 3-4 kms.

About 2km of wonderful walk (and then you have to return; it’s not in a circle) through the jungle and rice fields. Absolute must while you are in Ubud. We did in rain but it was amazing though. You can park your car at the beginning of the walk, it was quite empty when we were there. No entrance fee.
