Located near main Ubud market , as soon as we reached the property we were warmly welcomed by their amazing staff. After the welcome drinks , when we entered our room we were blown away. It was such a cute room with amazing aroma , great interiors and huge balcony. The pool was amazing overlooking the forest area . The staff is so nice that any written appreciation would be less . They smile and greet you genuinely and not out of any obligation. We were not charged for small extra services and they ensured that whatever we needed in the room was provided. It is more than value for money. Must visit !

I absolutely loved my stay at Bucu View! So much so, that I went back for a second time during my trip. The location is great and within walking distance to Ubud centre, yet tucked away slightly from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are beautiful and very tranquil. You feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest - and the sound of the river was very soothing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely - I looked forward to it each morning. And the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I can’t wait to go back again!

An amazing resort for our time in Ubud. The pool is incredible and the staff felt like family!!! Our room was clean, tidy, and had bottled water as well as other amenities. We enjoyed breakfast and the calming context of the place. Bucu is just off the main stretch so you’ve got all the hustle and bustle of Ubud but can return to a quiet location for relaxation after. Thank you Bucu view staff!

Great resort and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It might be a 4 star resort butttt it's better service than any 5 star hotel I've been. The staff is wonderful and will help out with anything. I wanted to visit the elephant park and the staff was able to arrange and advice. It was also great that they had a quick laundry service which made the holiday nicer. The road towards the resort is a little dark (one extra light or two would fix this :)) But it is worth the walk and safe.

Everything was great ! All the people here are extremely professional, so kind respectful and helpful !
The location is great close to central Ubud and monkey Forest.
The pool with a view was magnificent!
The breakfast in the middle of nature was very lovable.
I strongly recommend ????

I love this hotel!
Pros:
Quiet location
It has a very natural, jungle feel about it
Wildlife
Staff are awesome and very attentive
Rooms are nice and I liked the robes provided
Food - nice and fresh, onsite warung which was cheap and delicious.

Cons:
The toilet tended to smell abit
Would be a struggle for someone with mobility issues as it's on top of a small hill

If there was a way to give -stars that would be what I would give this place. We stayed at Bucu View for 2 Nights and we had a horrible stay. I am nearly 6 months pregnant and their safety standards in the room was dangerous. A curtain rail came off the wall and fell on my head and hurt me and the hotel did nothing to help or compensate. They just said; ‘oh, it never happened before’.

To start with, the accomodation did not have the room we booked. There was no changing of it either, they first said we can move you then later made some lame excuse.

The room was not clean, bed sheets had stains and curtains had mould and blood stains. Disgusting! The bed was horrible and rock hard with a constant creaking noise. There was some electrical wiring issue in the room which was really annoying, you could hear a faint radio or tv constantly being played from the head rest.

The shower and toilet stunk constantly of sewage, nothing to help this, and again no rooms to move to. The sink tap was loose, almost falling off and sink was dirty, toilet roll holder was broken, and the worst one was the curtain rail to the bathroom area, it randomly fell off the wall when I tried to open it and the pole hit on my head. Unbelievable, they would not even give $5 discount at checkout.

Stay away from this place! Management is poor.
