Fabulous food and service we have been here multiple times now. Highly recommend sitting upstairs away from the traffic. Pesto gnocchi was full of flavour and strawberry tart very fresh and just perfectly sweet. They also do great Indonesian food. 100k each for pasta, dessert and drinks.

Very good casual italian restaurant. Thin crispy pizza was great, so was the seafood pasta. This is not a fancy restaurant, but the price is very reasonable and the food was "no-nonsense", which makes it a "can't go wrong" choice for dining.

Delicious pesto! The taste and quality did not change since the first time I tried the menu in 2009. Very good service. The waiting for the menu prep might be a bit long, but in overall the service is timely and efficient.

The menu was a bit overwhelming with a lot of options to choose from, some people like to have a large selection, personally i don’t- it makes it very difficult to choose something. there is pizza, pasta, ravioli, salads / soups, meats u0026 fish, and Indonesian dishes. I had an upset stomach so needed to order something light, chicken and mushroom, it was ok, chicken was dry though. my partner had cap cay chicken and enjoyed his dish.

Three years ago, some guy next my table recommends me this restaurant, he said: "you guys having pizza right? maybe next time there is good italian restaurant near here, the name is Black beach, you guys should go there"

Yesterday finally visited Black Beach, Ordered beef lasagna, mushroom pizza, salmom salad for lunch.

That guy was right. The lasagna was perfect. ingredients in lasagna is super fresh and tasty, tastes like home-made sauce. The mushroom pizza got a thin dough, that was my type. also delicious.

Totally recommends to someone looking for yummy italian dishes.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff.

Penne Arrabbiata was slightly undercooked and the sauce was VERY bitter and had no spice whatsoever - luckily there was a chilli on the side as a garnish which I cut myself to add. I also had "Daily made Sourdough" but the bread was very heavy and didn't really resemble a Sourdough - I still enjoyed the meal.

Lemon soda just tasted like soda water.

I eat here frequently after retiring to Ubud 2 years ago. Great array of Italian and international dishes prepared beautifully every time. Best sunset view in Ubud!
