A perfect end to our honeymoon trip. The hospitality was off the charts with views you couldn’t get tired of. We stayed in the Honeymoon villa and barely went out for a few hours. Between the private pool, hot stone massages, live BBQ dinner and amazing staff we felt really special. Highly recommend for honeymooners.

Shout out to the GM Mr. Rana who made sure our trip was comfortable. You run an amazing place and we will definitely be back.

Stunning place. Fabulous service. Out of this world views. Butler service. I couldn't fault this beautiful villa. The villa driver was fantastic. Beauty spa was incredible ????. I've never felt so relaxed in my life.

My fiancée is Indonesian and we are getting married in Ubud in August 2023. Whilst our wedding venue is a stunning 5 star resort, we have chosen the Bidadari for our honeymoon because quite simply, we find it perfect. There is a choice of villa sizes, and all have private pools and overlook this steep, lush valley. The open plan rooms allow this unique feeling of luxury engaging with nature. We counted over 200 steps from the reception area to the spa which nestles down in the valley close to the river, but don't let this climb put you off as stopping for a breather gives you time to appreciate this beautiful, tranquil and verdant panorama.
There is no restaurant...the superb cuisine is delivered to your own private villa (a chef will even come and cook a barbecue on your patio) and the menu covers both snacks and multi course meals.
The service is first class and includes daily accommodation cleaning and evening preparation by dedicated staff who obviously share manager Rana's view that the customer is king....indeed it is probably due to the fact that he views himself and his staff as one big happy family that encourages this conscientious approach by everyone.
The fact that we've booked numerous villas here for our family and friends attending our wedding next year shows our confidence that they will share our love for this little corner of paradise.

One week ago I arrived here as part of a group of friends to stay at Bidadari private villas in Ubud and I have had the dream holiday relaxation experience of a lifetime. From the minute we arrived we were greeted on first name basis by the genuine heart warming smiles of the reception and management staff. This enveloping comforting feeling of being part of the Bidadari family continued daily through the length of our stay and from the gardeners and room housekeeping staff through to senior management , namely Rana and Amy. Every single staff member greeted us with warmth and personal first name based service each and every day.
I treated myself to 2 massages whilst here down at the beautiful Spa where Meti gave me the best massages and shirodhara water treatment I’ve ever experienced. The heavenly relaxed feelings from these treatments kept me floating peacefully through the whole week. Melbourne lock downs and lack of travel for 4 years are now washed away and totally forgotten. Total bliss.
Whilst here we enjoyed the food so much that we ate in at the superb villa every night. The chef, sous chef and all the kitchen staff presented us with a wide array of mouth watering food each day plus polite , prompt service by all staff involved. Nothing is too much trouble at Bidadari. We have travelled the world extensively over the years and the service and hospitality provided here is 2nd to none. It is beyond 5 star.
Our large room had a wonderful outdoor enclosed private shower and bathroom surrounded by garden. It was cleaned and towels replaced daily if needed . The air conditioning worked really well too.I spent many hours lounging about in the outdoor lounges and chairs whilst able to use the very good wifi throughout the villa.
Our group departs today for France and I know that it will be impossible to have the high quality of service and warm family style hospitality replicated in other venues during the rest of the trip. Bidadari have set the bar really high here and they should all feel so proud of their achievements . I am so happy this venue has survived the Covid lockdown times and has come through better than ever and fully refreshed . The gardens are a dream to the eye and the individual swimming pool with lounges and fluffy towels is superb.
I congratulate the senior management and owners of Bidadari on such a magnificent resort and the way in which every staff member cares for guests and in turn are part of a strong healthy Bidadari family with total professionalism and attention to detail as their mantra.
We will dearly miss Bidadarin when we depart this evening and cannot wait to return. This has been 8 days of perfection to begin our holiday to Europe. My batteries feel fully recharged and my mind clear and refreshed. Thank you everyone at Bidadari. I think there are around 33 or so staff here and I wish to say a heart felt thank you to all of them. We cannot wait to return and will always be thinking of Bidadari and their team as the world benchmark in holiday professionalism.

We were a group of 7 friends staying at the 4 bedroom villa for 3 nights. The villas are absolutely stunning! Amazing views!

I stayed in the poolhouse room. Beautiful room with pool view. Bathroom is big and very nice. Has everything you need. I retract one star from the room as the aircon was really loud, even on night setting and every now and then a generator, right outside the room, would start running waking me up several times a night. Even with earplugs I would hear it and the feel the vibrations of it.

Staff and the butlers are generally really friendly and nice, but they need some policy changes.
I retract two stars from the service, as I would expect more from a place like this. When arriving we had to register each passport in their system through an app ourselves.. Took us quite some time.

The first evening we went out for dinner in Ubud. It was raining, so they borrowed us umbrellas. When opening one of the umbrellas after getting out of the car in Ubud, it rained ants on one of the girls. There was an ant-nest in the umbrella.
Sure, it's the jungle and all that, but what annoyed me was that they tried to charge us for the umbrella after not taking the ant-infested umbrella in the car back with us from the restaurant.

They also wanted to charge us for 1 broken wine glass and a small scent diffuser unfortunately broken by accident. And that's after we'd spent more money on their services than the total fee of staying there.. Actually annoyed us a lot.

Had a massage from the spa and that was really really nice!

Overall a great stay and a fantastic place, but management need to make some policy changes.

Update:
Booked transportation from the hotel to Padang Bai. They wanted 900k for the transport of the 7 of us. We went with it for convenience but knowing we could've gotten it way cheaper with the app Grab. Pickup was on time. In the car there were two other travellers. They rode with us to Padang Bai, as they were also going there. On the way there, they discovered they were on the wrong transport. Their guy arrived at the hotel 20 min after we left. But no problem. We were going the same way. But we we were going to pay, he wanted a full payment of 900k for the TWO of them..! When we helped them argue they shouldn't pay more than each of us, he threatened to call their boat and cancel their ticket.. The poor guys ended up paying full to be able to leave. Yet again unfair hastle from this hotel.

Not choosing this place again or recommend it.

My stay and hospitality are beyond explanation, nothing short of AMAZING with mountainside views, tree lined and heavenly.

As a group I stayed at the luxurious Presidential Villa with a spectacular view, a private swimming pool, view of nature that I have never seen before as I have travelled the world.

Absolute 5 star menu and services by the Bidadari family team members (Grade one).
The services are amazing and so helpful by all the team from gardeners to the top management, housekeeping, laundry, Chef and Managers (I guarantee you will not find a better in this world).

My massages were done with respect,love and great atmosphere for healing and meditation.

Retreat - UBUD is a magical place to stay, relax and play.

So thank you to all of you for taking pride in your work and us. You are (My Family) now.

Great place to stay in Ubud if you like it to be quite and serene. It’s a bit far out from Ubud centre, sometimes a bit hard to catch a taxi or Grab to the centre but it’s very peaceful here. The staffs were very friendly and attentive, and you get free floating breakfast as well. Thank you guys for your hospitality ????.
